Hey, a little wind is worth it if you get cooler temps with the deal. LOL
Yes, still dry as a bone over here though clouds gave us another day in the mid 80s. That’s over now and temps start cranking back up towards a rough, hot weekend.

Hey there, Kathy.
Yes! It took them long enough to get the ‘net and TV going again. GRRRRRRR
The past two days haven’t been too bad since we had heavy cloud cover. Kept the temps down to mid 80s. Now it cranks back up to way too hot for a while again.
I sure wouldn’t mind your 60s and 70s. :-)

Sleep will be welcomed...
No TV and ‘net is a bummer...glad you finally got it back.
Ash and Tim and kiddos are up from Texas for a few days. Tomorrow they are going to the zoo (Ash and I spent a LOT of time there when she was young...I LOVE our zoo!) and will come by after, and after I get home from my appointment. Sunset isn’t til 11:41p.

At least Nashville has a talk radio station to listen to and that got me through the doldrums. LOL
Cool that you get to see Ash and Tim. Is this the first time the kids have been up there? It’s a loooooooong flight for kids that young.
I’ve heard the zoo up there is a nice one. The kids should love it and it’ll be a trip down memory lane for Ash.
It was a pretty day up there. It was odd seeing contrails across the sky. Lots of them and they lasted a long time. We don’t see them all that often, even with all the air traffic there is with Stevens and Elmendorf being up there.

I just stepped out a bit ago and it felt WONDERFUL! 75 lovely cool degrees. THAT, I can live with. Tomorrow the high is only supposed to be about 80. I want to enjoy every moment. And, yes. The wind was still blowing.
If it’s going to get hot, you better hope for lower humidity. It won’t “seem” as bad that way. Or that is our experience. How are the katydids singing?

A very pleasant good Thursday morning and ((HUGS)) to everyone at the Canteen and to all our military at home and abroad. Thanks for your service to our country.
Yesterday at Wichita Ridge:
Gizmo also enjoyed his visit at the vet yesterday. He got his monthly heart worm pill and a new bottle of zinc tablets. He also got his quarterly flea and tick pill.
How's everyone doing this morning?

Shoulda stayed out there for a while to enjoy it while it’s there. With the wind blowing, it’s hard for skeeters to land on ya. LOL Enjoy that 80 tomorrow. You know it won’t last.
70 here but there’s no breeze. Still feels nice since the clouds moved out and the humidity dropped a little. A little breeze would make it perfect though.
There are a few katydids chattering tonight in the trees behind the barn. None in the woods beside the house yet. When those wake up, it’ll be almost deafening outside and I love it.
I wonder how the guy who bought those woods is going to like it. He’s in for a surprise. He’s living up there in a motorhome for now while he builds his house and he’ll be in the middle of all the chattering. If he doesn’t like katydids .......
LOL
I wish Hubby hadn’t sold the woods. I miss getting to walk through them on the trails Hubby cut throughout them.
Guess I need to scoot and get things done so I can hit the sack. Republican women’s meeting in the morning. Have good rest of the night. Catch ya tomorrow.

It looks like you and Gizmo got some good exercise at Wichita Ridge yesterday. Gizmo was pleased with the smelly spots to roll in. LOL

Enjoy your meeting. Get stuff done! See ya tomorrow!
You don’t think the new owner would mind if you were to take walks in those woods, do you? He ought to know you’re not going to mess anything up.

First time on a plane...and they got to visit the cockpit. Ash was hoping they could.
Glad you had a radio and a station for listening.

Good morning, E...((HUGS))...love the clouds in your sky at Wichita Ridge.
Gizmo sure found a lot of fun things to do...water and places to roll.
Glad he is getting all the things to help him stay healthy.
Have fun on your Thursday adventures.

HowdyHowdy, Early Birds!
Isn't our flag splendid?
We should honor it and America every day!
We have always felt safe here.
Mostly due to our brave troops who stand in front.
Hope all y'all have a Thank-The-Troops Thursday!
It's actually 76° right now. You heard right!
(((hugs)))
