“he fired a blank round at a crew member”!!!!
WFT!
It was a real gun. Common for “autheniticity” in the film industry. Baldwin knew that.
You never even dry fire a pistol at someone you don’t intend to harm. This is basic firearms saftey 101.
This is negligent homicide. No doubt about it.
They better have video or witnesses of said horseplay or it never happened......having said that, I’m sure he was, proof or no.
He’ll buy his way to aquitta like all the Hollywood left does every time.
Some footage showed at the armorers trial showed him waving a gun around and acting like a complete nut.
Reckless, reckless and arrogant.
Rules for thee but not for he…
Alec killed Halyna Hutchins who was exposing pedophila in Hollywood.
Baldwin was f*cking around, WITH A FUNCTIONAL WEAPON, and a woman died and another man gravely wounded.
What is taking so long? Why must years pass before justice is served? This is not a complicated case with thousands of docs, hundreds of witnesses.
A "blank round" is what killed Brandon Lee.
Unfortunately, there was a projectile lodged in the barrel.
i thought the shooting was negligent before.
but now that this has come out, it seems like he was trying to normalize and minimize his negligence
now i think he was muddying the waters to prep plausible deniability for murder.
Yeah I saw that, I watched almost every minute of that trial.
It’s WAY past time for this guy to get what’s been coming to him for years....I just have a sick feeling he’s gonna weasel out of it like he always does.
This is news to me. I always took him as an anti-gun nut who thinks all guns are icky. Of course, the news media would never report this type of behavior.
He deserves more than 18 months.
Movies are make-believe, so Baldwin the actor is innocent.
Baldwin the producer may well be guilty for his gross negligence in administering safety regulations. But the prosecutors seem to me to be confused and incompetent.
In order to determine Guilt or Innocence, we must first determine Whom we are talking about. I think Alec will be fine.
My theory is she angered or annoyed him by something she said or did, and his arrogant bullying temper took over…he aimed and fired to frighten her
So if an actor is monkeying around on a set with a golf cart, loses control and runs over a kid killing him, that’s cool since movies are make-believe?
It was a functional firearm. Everyone knew it. Baldwin is f*cking around with it, capping off blanks at low level employees who’d get fired for complaining. He then killed a woman and gravely wounded another man because “someone” left a live round in the pistol.
But under your logic, since Baldwin’s an actor, he need not adhere to the #1 basic firearm safety precaution of never pointing, let alone pulling trigger, at what you don’t intend to kill, literally the first lesson in any course [or from Dad].
Sure, buddy.
Baldwin was also “erratic and aggressive” during filming
Isn’t he like that ALL the time?
Edited for accuracy.
And lots of it.
