Movies are make-believe, so Baldwin the actor is innocent.
Baldwin the producer may well be guilty for his gross negligence in administering safety regulations. But the prosecutors seem to me to be confused and incompetent.
So if an actor is monkeying around on a set with a golf cart, loses control and runs over a kid killing him, that’s cool since movies are make-believe?
It was a functional firearm. Everyone knew it. Baldwin is f*cking around with it, capping off blanks at low level employees who’d get fired for complaining. He then killed a woman and gravely wounded another man because “someone” left a live round in the pistol.
But under your logic, since Baldwin’s an actor, he need not adhere to the #1 basic firearm safety precaution of never pointing, let alone pulling trigger, at what you don’t intend to kill, literally the first lesson in any course [or from Dad].
Sure, buddy.
