This isn’t the 1950’s missiles can be fired from anywhere. This is just BS posturing to try to get the US to back down from expanding NATO

Missiles can be fired from anywhere. The critical factor is distance. If they are fired from halfway around the globe, we have the amount of time it takes them to get here to respond. If they are fired from a few miles offshore, we have NO time to respond.

A Russian nuclear submarine docked in Havana is "BS posturing"? At what point do Neocon interventionists get a clue? Perhaps you can tell the American middleclass exactly how they benefitted from NATO expansion, after 1991.

To a degree you are correct, however, the closer the weapon they sooner the payload arrives. So, it is posturing, but it also assures a first strike even if not launched first.

In other words, there is a method to their madness. It's not all show with no go behind it.
