‘They Know That They’re Losing’: Anna Paulina Luna Claims Lawmakers ‘Hearing’ Biden Won’t Be Dem Nominee
Daily Caller ^ | June 14, 2024 | HAILEY GOMEZ - GENERAL ASSIGNMENT REPORTER

Posted on 06/14/2024 6:15:52 AM PDT by Red Badger

Republican Florida Rep. Anna Paulina Luna claimed Thursday on Fox News Capitol Hill lawmakers are “hearing” President Joe Biden won’t be the Democratic nominee come this November.

Luna appeared on “Jesse Watters Primetime” to discuss the recent meeting GOP lawmakers had with former President Donald Trump on Thursday morning. Fox host Jesse Watters asked Luna about the policies discussed in the closed door meeting, to which Luna revealed some of Trump’s ideas on foreign affairs.

“I think the number one issue that he has is, especially a concern for what’s happening right now with Russia, obviously.” Luna said. “There’s the media really silencing what’s happening with Russia — warships off the coast of Cuba and also Florida. But I think more importantly too he made it sure that the American people would know that what is currently happening in Ukraine and Israel would have never happened under him and he does have a plan and solution moving forward.”

“I also want to point out that he understands that world leaders respect him and right now with currently what’s coming out of the White House that, you know, a lot of people realize that Joe Biden is likely not going to be the nominee,” she continued. “Which is from what we’re hearing on Capitol Hill, Representative [Kevin] Kiley had reported that Kamala Harris [is] actually eyeing a run for California governor because of it.”

“Right, that’s the backup plan. So you are hearing also in D.C. that Joe Biden isn’t going to be the Democrat nominee?” Watters asked.

“Correct,” Luna responded. “It appears that our colleagues are trying to put guardrails on a 2024 presidential election with President Trump and also what you are seeing is according to our pulling, you know as well as I do that they have been trying to really paint Republicans as anti-woman and they’re trying to push an abortion crisis right now with the election and I don’t think that’s a case. A lot of the American people know that really this is a state rights decision and so I think that they know that they’re losing. It’s very evident at this point.”

Reports have circulated that top Democratic Party members are allegedly panicking over the chance that Biden may lose the 2024 election against Trump, according to Politico. Recent polling shows Trump has not only been leading against Biden in major key swing states, but is also polling well among key Democratic voting blocs. For example, in a recent New York Times/Siena College poll, Trump has narrowed his deficit against Biden, winning 20% of black voters despite Biden having won the voting bloc by over 60% in 2020.

That’s is most likely on their list above having Newsome on the Ticket. It would of been in the top three pairings if Buttigieg hadn’t been such a disaster at Transportation.

Definitely not Hillary. She’s not well liked, even by Dems, and is also old.............

That ticket wouldn’t crack 38% in a general election.

Biden can lose the election in Nov and still pardon his son prior to Trump taking office, IIRC, in Jan or Feb.

Yes.

If...the Dem powers behind the curtain want to push the Hunter leverage and get that response from Joe or Lady MacBeth, they simply pull out the proof that he’s mentally impaired and tell him to get with the program now, or he’ll be removed via the 25th Amendment and Hunter will pay the price.

I agree to a point. The wildcard here is the fear of exposure which, although I don’t think Trump will waste time with this as he has far more important matters to sort out, can make vicious people do vicious things. This and the fact that the Democrat/Communist Party is so close to achieving their goal of “fundamentally transforming the United States of America” (as pronounced publicly by their mulatto-marxist-muslim, America/American-hating cult leader in 2008) and, even with a principle-weak, frightened “opposition party” the Democrat/Communist Party needs to retain power to get there.

“Newsome is a remote possibility, but I think he is further down the list.”

I have read his name as a possible replacement most often.

“he still has half a brain and will not be as easy to control as the current puppet.”

He has the cerebral hemisphere of a political Frankenstein monster.

A more plausible scenario would be to take Joe out, and blame it on a Trump supporter.

Agreed. Biden is not going to go by his own validation. Depends on how much power he still retains to scare people with FBI, DOJ and CIA.

Republicans have been saying “Biden will never make it past (insert date here)” for years now. Can we please stop with this nonsense? It has made us lazy, and we are all just assuming Trump is going to stroll into the WH again. Hearing these silly rumors on Fox News isn’t helping.

Fighting for middle class income and real property tax caps now in Congress would add the electors of several deep blue states to Trump’s total and make Congress turn deep red come November, with the middle class being defined as persons having income in the range of federal civil servants.

We need to limit the ability of Democratic politicians to buy votes.

I don't believe it.

Concern trolling and distractions until Obama IV™ is nominated and then the DemDrones will rally to the ballot stuffing stations.

It’s not the prospect that Biden will not be their nominee. It’s the fact that there’s no way to stop the demented, arrogant liar from BEING their nominee.

Biden has the electors, he’ll stand up there and accept and that will be that. He won’t be bowing out, he won’t be collapsing on stage. No Big Mike, No Newsome, no nothin’.

the names they toss about, Newsome, Michelle, etc are all just laughable jokes. The party faithful will certainly vote for whoever the candidate is, but someone who’s going to really inspire and draw in the independents and motivate the base?

I think the Dems biggest problem, as it typically is, is turnout. They solved it in Deep Blue cities with the Ballot harvesting, but that take logistics and organization and it's tough to scale to every state. If the 18-35 Dem vote isn't motivated by a sleepy creepy demented old man, a quick substitute with a Newsome telegenic type could turn out that group, and they don't vote on substance so the lack of time to campaign is a non issue. Your point about discerning Independents is probably the strongest point and the biggest weakness with a substituted candidate I would think.

The problem with the Replacement option is the Dems really don’t have any star power candidate.

Newsome won’t win, and they know that too.. especially if tossed in at the last minute.

There really have no one that they can replace Biden with who, especially in an abbreviated campaign can pull it off... they have no superstar, none.

RFK JR would have easily won the presidency as a Democrat, and I say that as a Trump supporter, but he sees through and attacks the deep state so they don’t want him.

The dems may try to replace Biden, and I’ve believe that’s been an option all along as they didn’t change their bylaws in 2022 to allow the replacement of the candidate at will after they accept the nomination should they resign or quit or be unable to run for any reason “just because” they were setting up the option to pull Biden if needed... Run him to avoid a primary but just replace him after he accepts the nomination.

Problem is that gives whoever they replace him with just 8-9 weeks to pull off a win, and you need an absolute superstar for that, and the Dems just don’t have it.

I am not saying the Dems won’t try it, just saying I don’t see how they get a win if they do.

Things keep trending the way they are, this fall isn’t going to be about whether or Trump wins.. its going to be about Dems trying to salvage the down ballot. If things stay the way they are going, no one being remotely honest is even going to present the idea Biden can win, they are going to be all about how many seats are the Dems going to lose in the house and Senate.

We shall see.

Personally I think the deck is stacked so far in Biden’s favor with these early debates, that they will just drug him up, enough to where he gets through them without a massive breakdown... he won’t perform well, but the notion he’s going to have a sundowner moment on camera is not likely, and they will call it “good enough” and a win and just keep plowing ahead.

We’ll see how it all plays out.

I think the Democrats will concede the loss to Trump. They already have. They will make sure they win House and Senate. Impeach and remove Trump again. More focus needs to be on Republicans winning House and Senate. Less money and attention to Trump race.
