It was a sauna here today and it wasn’t even all that hot. The heat index was rough though.
Dropped ol’ Betsy off with the “car doctor” early this morning. This afternoon’s first stop was to pay the vet bill for Isis’s visit yesterday. Their computers were down for a system update and they couldn’t work up the total for everything.
Then hit the store for a few things, came home, and sprayed RoundUp for an hour or so.
I’m done with outside during daylight hours for the next week. As bad as it was today at 83, no way I want to be out with mid to upper 90s. I have no tolerance.
Yes, there’s a little sunshine peeking through but not much. No blue sky. The sun’s shining through high thin clouds. That’s what we had here today.

I feel your pain. I have no tolerance for heat either. Low OR high humidity-wise. Heat is just uncomfortable.
Is Isis still improving after her treatment started? Hope the meds help her. When will the car place give you the news on ol’ Betsy? Hope she will stick around a while longer fo.r your sake

It didn’t bother me so much when I was younger but it sure does now? Who said the Golden Years were something to look forward to? They lied! LOL
Isis IS improving already, after only two doses of her meds. I just gave her the third dose a little while ago. Her appetite is picking up and that’s what I hoped for. We’ll slowly back off on two of the meds but one she’ll continue to take every day.
I should hear something tomorrow about the car. I just hope the fix won’t break the bank.

Fingers crossed on the charges on the car. Labor is sooo expensive nowadays, not to mention the actual replacement parts.

I don’t know how much she appreciates my care. LOL She’s not wild about taking the pills but I give her a few kitty treats immediately afterwards to make it a positive experience. That does help. She’ll be on the meds for life so she needs to get used to it and accept it.
At least they seem to be working and that’s what counts.
Parts are bad enough but labor is the killer with Betsy. Nothing is conveniently placed. Stuff has to be taken out to get to what needs to be worked on, then all put back together. Hubby didn’t like to work on her for that reason. Fortunately, there have been few problems in the years I’ve had her. I hope this will be the last of it IF they can find out what’s messed up.
It really has been WONDERFUL! The week is just speeding by. I’m afraid our cooler weather ends pretty soon, too.
Dang! 70 whole degrees! You’ll have to turn the AC on high. 😂 🤣
What year model is that car? I’ve forgotten. If I ever knew. LOL!
Guess I”d better head out. It’s later than I thought. Try to talk tomorrow. Hope we’re going for BBQ tomorrow. They have a great place here that I like. Well, we all do.
