I have to agree with you here. Society has looked for ways to criminalize everything so you can’t possess a gun without breaking the law. If someone is so dangerous that they can’t have a firearm, especially a rifle, then they don’t belong out on the street. Think about that, they put people out with available: torches, tools, cars, planes, knives, baseball bats, and all matter of chemicals to make explosives, but they restrict firearms. It doesn’t make sense, unless the government no longer wants an armed public.
Seems likely enough and, of course, to make DOJ look “non partisan”
This could tip the scales. If Hunter gets prison time, Joe will want to pardon him. Joe knows thats a killer politically. Joe will pardon him and resign.

I was betting on an acquittal since they were trying the case in a town in Delaware where everyone knows the Bidens. I guess to know them is not to love them.
