In one example, a mural was displayed in the factory from 2005 to 2021 as a memorial for Confederate leaders using General Mills mascots, like the Cocoa Puffs cuckoo bird portraying the president of the confederacy, Jefferson Davis, and the Honey Nut Cheerios bee depicting General Stonewall Jackson, the lawsuit said.

Why do you need a mural about anything in the workplace? They should have postings about productivity and quality.
White racists may well be running the plant; I have no idea. But making or authorizing a lighthearted mural featuring cartoons of Confederate officials doesn’t make one a white racist.
How about Tony the Tiger dressed up in drag as Mary Todd Lincoln in a black Victorian hoop skirt and bustier. I always knew Toenails was a flamer.
Tony the Tiger is Kellogg’s NOT General Mills!
Black people complaining about Racism by the Democrats while having their assess firmly planted on the back porch of the Democrat Plantation Bosses...
Meh, If I were General Mills I would transfer manufacturing out of the US, they have lots of plants in other countries like Mejico, and phase out Georgia. Oh so sorry, but hey we know you don’t want to work for racists.
You beat me to it and you win the internet today.
Hmmmm. How about either Frankenberry or Count Chocula?
Both those guys are really light in the loafers. Even kids can spot them.
The Trix Rabbit is a junkie. Agreed on Count and Frankenberry. Booberry has that queer Joe Cairo vibe. Don’t forget the departed Sir Grapefellow.
So they understand they works even have factory to begin with of not for white folk?
And if the whites running the factory were actually racists, there wouldn’t be “black workers” there.
“During the Cold War years, it was common for people to say that about seeing ‘communism’ under every fringed pillow and inside of every darkened file drawer.”
Looks like they were right.
“The US schools are much to blame. Kids aren’t prepared for the idea that they will have to be productive if they want to be prosperous. “
We had a little girl show up today with her Mom to pick weeds out of our flower bed and pick up dog poop for minimum wage. I was proud of her and her Mom.
I figured you had capitalized “White” but it’s actually in the CNN headline.
I’ve seen stuff like that and it always came across as disingenuous. I was all about making the workplace as comfortable as possible…i let people decorate their workspace as they wanted. But a mural? There would always be someone making that process a pain in the neck. No thanks.
I can’t image the damages that would be demanded if portions of the United States Lincoln-Douglas debates were scripted into a mural.
Or even remarks from President Lincoln’s first inaugural address.
No history for me or thee.
Twenty years ago I would have cared a bit.
Ten years ago I would have cared a bit if it was real.
Now, I just can't even work up a smidgen of care.
Unless someone is actively doing physical damage to you just shut up.
If you got your teeny-weenie little fee-fees hurt, dry up sobbie.
Wrong.
Wrong.
And that is so wrong that it is almost impossible to say how wrong it is.
The criminal invaders cry about and throw away FREE FOOD.
I don’t know why they don’t feel exploited by all the TV commercials they appear in. I’ll leave it to others to explain why....or even TV shows that feature them.
“”ONLY have blacks or the nondescript, mixed-race people so popular in corporate marketing campaigns these days.””
That’s what I was trying to say in my post but you said it much more clearly...
Be it a guy or gal - they ARE LOUD!!! Was it you who sent me a link about LOUD women a week or so ago after I’d mentioned how loud black women were? The white gal who crashed her car and cussed out the cops who tried and eventually succeeded in arresting her - lots of credit to the PATIENT cops. Not only loud but filthy mouths!!!
