The prosecution rested on Friday in Hunter Biden’s gun trial with the defense now scheduled to bring witnesses to the stand. The trial will likely conclude next week.
Witnesses who took the stand include:
FBI agent Erika Jensen Kathleen Buhle, Hunter’s ex wife Zoe Kestan, Hunter’s ex girlfriend Gordon Cleveland, a gun store clerk Hallie Biden, Hunter’s ex and widow of brother Joshua Marley, a police officer Millard Greer, a former Delaware state trooper Edward Banner, the 80-year-old man who found Hunter’s gun FBI chemist Jason Brewer DEA drug expert Jason Brewer The prosecution presented significant evidence against Hunter, whose legal defense could be hoping for jury nullification, experts warned this week.

Yeah, but it’s not like the real evidence and real crimes they had on DJT.
Good news for Hunter and Joe is that likely this time next week, they’ll be able to claim that they told us this was all politically made up by the republicans and they will be grateful to the jury for having seen through all the (DJ)Trumped up charges and allegations . . .
Or at least a hung jury.

Meanwhile Hunter’s more serious crimes of illegal collusions money laundering racketeering with phony shell companies goes unprosecuted. Prolly involves US taxpayers foreign aid with siphoned kickbacks for personal gains like 10% for The Big Guy. The Bagman Hunter for the Grifter clan.
I suspect this case was more about getting rid of that laptop (legally) FOREVER... rather than getting Hunter on ANYTHING.
How so? No one can even pretend it might not be legit Hunter's after this.
Was admitted into evidence. Can be used in other cases, yes?

It’s just a suspicion... once they use it in any case, seems like they could use that case to tie it up as evidence in other cases.
Consider everything that is on it... and they use it for gun violations???
Hunter Biden’s tax trial is still in the works, and I think some of the evidence was gleaned from the laptop.
The fact that the laptop content was used here doesn’t keep it out of any other proceedings.
The defense will revolve around “state of mind”.
As in “Was Hunter too deranged on drugs to be of a “mindfull state” when he declared that he was not addicted, on the form.
As I would expect from Saul Goodman (Better Call Saul), the future application of this defense should be entertaining.

Had my client been sober, he never would have driven drunk. But in his inebriated state, he lacked the proper judgement to recognize that he was too impared to drive. Double jeopardy with regard to charges but let’s say there’s other things on the laptop and that would be applicable to new charges unrelated. Seems to me that would be fair game.
Put Dr. Jill on the stand. She knows the owner of that stash of coke.

Legally it’s fair game.
