“The prosecution presented significant evidence against Hunter”

Yeah, but it’s not like the real evidence and real crimes they had on DJT.

Good news for Hunter and Joe is that likely this time next week, they’ll be able to claim that they told us this was all politically made up by the republicans and they will be grateful to the jury for having seen through all the (DJ)Trumped up charges and allegations . . .

Meanwhile Hunter’s more serious crimes of illegal collusions money laundering racketeering with phony shell companies goes unprosecuted. Prolly involves US taxpayers foreign aid with siphoned kickbacks for personal gains like 10% for The Big Guy. The Bagman Hunter for the Grifter clan.

I suspect this case was more about getting rid of that laptop (legally) FOREVER... rather than getting Hunter on ANYTHING.

The defense will revolve around “state of mind”.

As in “Was Hunter too deranged on drugs to be of a “mindfull state” when he declared that he was not addicted, on the form.

As I would expect from Saul Goodman (Better Call Saul), the future application of this defense should be entertaining.

“Your honor, my client admits that he was driving drunk. However, as to his state of mind... As the science confirms, alcohol impedes judgement. Had my client been sober, he never would have driven drunk. But in his inebriated state, he lacked the proper judgement to recognize that he was too impared to drive. Therefore he cannot be held to a “mindfulness” standard....”
