As high prices at grocery stores, gas pumps and pharmacies have soured many voters on his first term, President Biden has developed a populist riposte: Blame big corporations for inflation, not me.
But despite facing a tough re-election battle where economic issues will be central, Mr. Biden has not leaned into that message as frequently or naturally as some other Democrats, including senators running in competitive seats across the southwest and the industrial Midwest. The Biden campaign has not focused its television or online advertisements on messages berating companies for high prices, unlike Senators Bob Casey of Pennsylvania and Sherrod Brown of Ohio, who have made the issue a centerpiece of their campaigns — and who are outrunning Mr. Biden in polls.
Now, some progressives are urging Mr. Biden to follow those senators’ lead and make “greedflation,” as they call it, a driving theme of his re-election bid. They say that taking the fight to big business could bolster the broader Main Street vs. Wall Street argument he is pursuing against former President Donald J. Trump, particularly with the working-class voters of color Mr. Biden needs to motivate. And they believe polls show voters are primed to hear the president condemn big corporations in more forceful terms.
“It’s a winning message for Democrats,” said April Verrett, the president of the Service Employees International Union, which is knocking on doors in battleground states as part of a $200 million voter-turnout operation. “And clearly Bob Casey, who’s doing better in the polls than the president, is proving that it’s the winning message.”
Inflation soared under Mr. Biden in 2021 and 2022, as the economy emerged from pandemic recession...

If they think “Greedflation” is bad now, wait until plugs raises corporate taxes.
“Progressives” are economic illiterates who mostly attended Institutions of Marxist Indoctrination, formerly known as American universities.
I hope that Doocey asks Biden or his handlers, which corporations? Are they your donors?
Government is the only permanent growth industry. Government growth is automatic inflation, as it drives up the cost of everything. Ultimately, consumers pay that cost in increased prices for all goods and services.
Bidenflation is a more accurate made-up term.
I’m surprised it too this long. Lefties always roll this out because it’s obviously impossible for their policies and rule to have caused anything bad like inflation.
At the front of the Greedflation line is the Federal Government which gets to pay its bills by counterfeiting the money.
But they won’t mention that little fact.
Pennsylvania Senator Casey has been running ads saying that greedy corporations have reduced the size of packages to cover higher prices.
Three stooges wrote this slop.
Yes, because BUSINESSES are those who dilute the value of the dollar by printing billions of them.
Poopypants Biden is right. Businesses should operate at huge losses by receiving $100 for what costs them $200.
Doing anything else is TREASON.
And a 40% capital gains tax, and an unrealized capital gains tax.
It's all Biden.

The company is throwing a huge amount of weight behind the effort, increasing its already massive national advertising budget by 20% starting in 2018.
Let's say you own a Burger King franchise. You need 10 people behind the counter at a time, but due to all the free money the democrats showered the country with to steal a phrase from the Washington Post, you can get 5 employees. The end result is that the money you had earmarked for 5 employees you need but don't have goes into your pocket, increasing your profits.
The next problem is that since people have all that free money, they're your business is getting slammed, so much so that the employees can't keep up. To offset the demand and give your employees some more money to keep them around, you have to raise prices.
Blame Nancy Pelosi for pulling $Trillions out of her a** to give away.
