Israel believes more than a third of the remaining Gaza hostages are dead, a government tally showed Tuesday, as the United States sought to advance their recovery under a proposal to wind down the war with Hamas.
Of about 250 people dragged into the Gaza Strip by Hamas-led Palestinian gunmen during the Oct. 7 cross-border rampage that sparked the war, scores were freed in a November truce, while others have been recovered – dead or alive – by Israeli troops.
The government tally said 120 remain in captivity, 43 of whom have been declared dead in absentia by Israeli officials based on various sources of information, including intelligence tip-offs, CCTV or bystander videos and forensic analysis.

How many of the hostages are US citizens?
The subhuman savage worms kept the humans in underground caves, with no sunlight, foul air, no toilet facilities, lousy food, no medical care, and constant anger and hate.
I would be surprised if any of them were whole physically and mentally.
There is or was a one year old, Kfir Bibas, being held by the dung beetles. I doubt the rotten media will remind us every so often about the boy.

Supposedly, undercover Israelis have spotted a few hostages in bomb belts accompanying Sinwar. Presumably Sinwar would blow them if Israelis get too close.
Possible a few are held as sex slaves but not under Hamas control, maybe in West Bank or Lebanon.

43 dead? I’d expect the reality is more like 113 of 120 dead...if not higher. You can expect every woman under 50 has been gang raped to death by now.
There will be a small handful kept alive to trade at the end so the leaders can go into exile.
Well If my family member was a part of those I wouldn’t give up at this juncture....but it’s doubtful for every day that passes. Hamas hasn’t been offering any of them as of late to prove there are any alive.

I actually hope after the terror these poor souls have been through, that they’re now at peace in God’s arms. Living with what they went through would be sheer hell.

I guess the UN and most of the world is okay with this. You hear absolutely no criticism of Hamas for it.
This was a fraud and an idiocy, in that the turnover would have taken weeks and there would be no repurcussions or justice for hostages killed or injured during captivity.
