The National Association of Broadcasters (NAB) rescinded an award for actor Robert De Niro on Wednesday, after he made an appearance outside of the trial of former President Donald Trump this week.
De Niro made his appearance on behalf of President Joe Biden's presidential campaign on Tuesday, and blasted Trump as someone who would "never leave" the White House if he makes a return in November, and will be a "dictator for life."
A spokesperson for the NAB said the group rescinded his Service to America Award because his recent political activities have taken away from the charity works the bipartisan group wants to highlight.
“This event is proudly bipartisan, uniting those from across the political spectrum to celebrate the impactful work of local broadcasters and our partners,” the spokesperson told The Hill. “While we strongly support the right of every American to exercise free speech and participate in civic engagement, it is clear that Mr. De Niro’s recent high-profile activities will create a distraction from the philanthropic work that we were hoping to recognize. To maintain the focus on service of the award winners, Mr. De Niro will no longer be attending the event.”

On what could they have possibly used to justify the award in the first place? He has never shown any propensity for bipartisanship, unless it was Republican's capitulating to the Democrats. He has never praised the Democrats for capitulating with the Republicans ever. So what charitable contribution are they referring to?

C'mon, man. We all know it's the Zero cabal and 'Jao' is just a puppet. It could be the 'wookie', harris or newsom: It's all the same.
And therein lies the problem: Zero was totally successful at entrenching supporters throughout the administrative state.
I'm of the opinion that we crossed the Rubicon in 2013 when he used his 2nd term to finish the job, and that unless DJT is elected AND he has a throng of ready-to-go HARD CORE appointees ready to go to war - so-to-speak - war is exactly what will be needed to preserve the United States Constitution.

I listened to part of De Niro’s rant on my radio show - there was a car alarm honking in the background - so loud I thought it was my own car, turns out it was an effort to drown out De Niro’s “speech.”
I well remember the same garbage being leveled against Trump when he was president, especially after Biden stole the election - media claiming Trump would have to be dragged out of office by the national guard at gunpoint.
Only an idiot would listen to an old, washed-up actor like De Niro.
