I Have Great News
Jamaal Bowman, the democrat that lied about pulling a fire alarm to halt a vote, lost his primary — even after AOC did a weird rally for him —
& Congresswoman Lauren Boebert won her primary for Colorado’s 4th Congressional District.
It was a swell evening.
The least to happen to Bowman for that stunt is losing his primary. He should have been prosecuted as that action is HIGHLY ILLEGAL!
Two-tiered justice system.
I should have researched. He did plead guilty and was fined $1000.
Thanks for following Julian’s progress and reporting.
Beautiful breakfast, thank you
Nope, it was a chocolate covered caramel, a nurse I worked with gave it to me. I thought it had a nuts in it and swallowed it. It was actually my crown. I retrieved it later, no actually I just made up the last part. I am gnarly but not that gnarly.
Lovely sound those loons make, kinda like the blues.
I watched the plane tracking through the night, off and on, and he finally landed at about 6:30 this morning, our time. Brought me to tears.

nuts, OMG!
I think about that sometimes when I eat something really thick and sticky. Like caramel. Maybe I will forgo them, melt them first.
Wonderful!!
He is such a brave hero.
Still wondering why Biden would let him go. Did he make a deal to not talk about Biden, just the rest?
Some people noted that the Wikileaks page had scrubbed the DNC emails that had been posted there. I would imagine there’s about a billion copies out there by now though.
Well, there were already a good number of dead man switches out there, so if anyone thinks those files are irretrievable, they’re dreaming.
Or, respecting another in their point of view. That's what I mean by emphasizing "good faith".
God faith is not only respecting another in their differing point of view, but also having a rational and supportable argument when entering a debate or disagreement with another.
That combination is not always easy to find.
exactly!!!
Bible in a Year :
I’ve been told all about what you have done for your mother-in-law since the death of your husband.
Years before Zoom was an accessible communication tool, a friend asked me to join her on a video call to discuss a project. Through the tone of my emails, she could tell I was baffled, so she suggested I find a teenager to help me figure out how to set up a video call.
Her suggestion points to the value of intergenerational relationships. It’s something observed in Ruth and Naomi’s story. Ruth is often celebrated for being a loyal daughter-in-law, deciding to leave her land to accompany Naomi back to Bethlehem (Ruth 1:16-17). When they arrived in the town, the younger woman said to Naomi, “Let me go to the fields and pick up the leftover grain [for us]” (2:2). She helped the older woman, who then helped the younger woman marry Boaz. Naomi’s advice for Ruth prompted Boaz to take action in purchasing her deceased in-laws’ property and to take her “as [his] wife” (4:9-10).
We certainly respect the advice of those who share their seasoned wisdom with younger generations. But Ruth and Naomi remind us that the exchange can go both ways. There’s something to be learned from those younger than us as well as those who are older. Let’s seek to develop loving and loyal intergenerational relationships. It will bless us and others and help us learn something we don’t know.
Reflect & Pray
What have you learned from someone younger? How might you reach out to someone of another generation today?
Dear God, thank You for the wisdom found in the young and in the old. Teach me to value intergenerational exchanges.
It’s usually humbling when you have to admit you don’t know how to do something and you’re asking for help from anyone. Even if you know a way perhaps grandma or grandson can show you a better way.
My best friend in Ohio when I was in my late 20s was a woman 40 years my senior. Irene. Sure do miss her. She taught me to be a servant, to be patient and what agape love was all about. She wasn’t pushy or overbearing. Quite the opposite. Gentle and encouraging
The idea of generations sharing a home and property is excellent and we can learn form the Japanese and other cultures who do so
