The Biden administration has greenlit the use of American long-range strike systems by Ukraine to launch attacks deep into Russia. This puts the entire planet in a “shockingly” dangerous situation, says former DoD analyst and US Air Force Lieutenant Colonel Karen Kwiatkowski.
President Biden has knowingly or unwittingly brought the risk of a world-ending nuclear conflict much, much closer after listening to “neoconservative advisors who really don’t have a lot of perspective on the nuclear dangers that they’re walking into” instead of military specialists and okaying Ukraine’s use of NATO weapons to strike the Russian hinterland, Kwiatkowski told Sputnik.
“The big problem is that Kiev’s drones have [already] attacked Russian early warning systems that are designed as part of their nuclear defense.....I don’t think they damaged them, but this has been done. If American weapons, heavier weapons are used against those targets, this cannot help but be seen by Russia as a precursor to a first strike – a nuclear first strike. When you hit someone’s nuclear defense radars, their ‘eyes’, their defensive systems, in normal war strategy, you’re preparing a battlefield. So I don’t know if the Biden advisors in Washington really have a sense of this, because there are no military people up there that are talking to Biden about this, but it’s a very dangerous situation,” Kwiatkowski emphasized.
The Wall Street Journal has reported citing officials that Washington has greenlit Ukraine’s use of Guided Multiple Launch Rocket System (GMLRS) and High Mobility Artillery Rocket System (HIMARS) rockets, as well as long-range artillery, for strikes on Russia territory.
Earlier, other NATO members, including Britain and France – which have sent long-range Storm Shadow/SCALP cruise missiles to Ukraine, similarly gave a nod to Kiev to use these weapons to fire on positions deep inside Russia amid Ukrainian forces’ slow........

They probably would have stopped when the Russian-speaking areas close to Russia were traded back to Russia for whatever we want from them.
It’s probably too late for that now.
I know it also had to do with our missile-launching capability.
Everything could have been solved and bargained with the right leadership but forget about that now. I believe the left really wants a nuclear war. They think they will come out ahead.
Just repeating lies does not make them true. There was no deliberate shelling of the ethnic Russian population. Even the numbers reported by the so-called Donbas republics do not support this. As for the ethnic Russian provinces, the only one is Crimea. Luhansk and Donetsk have ethnic Ukrainian populations. And what about Zaporizhzhia and Kherson, which have overwhelming Ukrainian majorities? All of this has been pointed out before but that does not stop some from repeating Russian lies.
And if Russia does not want to be poked perhaps it should pull back its own claws and stop poking its neighbors. Funny how those who cry "don't poke the bear" never acknowledge this.

You can’t deny the UN reports for 2014 about the Ukies shelling the ethnic Russian provinces…..you can deny the hundreds of UN human rights violations by Ukraine filed by the UN, but then you become a denier.

The 20-page report, which has an additional 31-page annex describing more than 60 specific cases, focuses mainly on cases of alleged killings of civilians, and people otherwise protected under international humanitarian law, in the conflict zone while no armed hostilities were taking place in the immediate vicinity of the incidents.
Significant numbers of people, including civilians, have also been summarily executed or died in custody, with most such killings occurring in 2014 and early 2015. According to the report, armed groups mainly executed individuals who had, or were believed to have, vocal ‘pro-unity’ views or to support Ukrainian forces, while Ukrainian forces targeted people based on their alleged affiliation with, or support for, armed groups, or for their “separatist” or “pro-Russian” views….
Fact is this Ukie civil began in 2014 when the Ukie Neo Nazis began shelling the Russian population in the Donbass. Vlad has done an excellent job protecting his people from the Ukro Nazis.
