It’s becoming tougher and tougher for Americans to carry on with their spending spree.
Years of elevated inflation and the highest interest rates in almost a quarter century are wearing out the US consumer. Savings accumulated during the Covid-19 pandemic are drying up, borrowers continue to rack up debt and delinquencies are marching higher. Retailers say shoppers are fed up with rising prices and are changing their purchasing behavior.

I’ve already decided not to buy a single damn thing that I don’t absolutely have to. Going to start my own national general strike. Hopefully people start joining me one by one and we bring this beast down.
I’m at the point where I’m trying to get rid of stuff, not get new stuff.

Those savings have been targeted because "how dare the peasants dare save and get ahead?"
I have to get the bare minimum these days though I was able to stock up on 2 litre soda 🥤🥤🥤 from WalMart last night.
Believe it or not I can actually use it in my cheap diet plan lol 😆.
It’s now $1 instead of $1.68 that it hit u under Uncle Ho Joe.
I bought a lot of it to save trips.
9 of those, roasted turkey slices 16 oz and 14 oz Eckrich Polish Kielbasa got out for $18.26 with tax
Dang just found it cheaper at WalMart too

Are those like Sasquatch or Unicorns? I’ve heard of them but don’t know anyone who has actually seen any.

They left out the 10 million illegals from their calculation.
Some big box stores are supposedly reducing prices on a lot of items. Don’t know if grocery items are included.
The economy is soft, no doubt about it.
