I’m so glad you discovered that brace. Wish it covered the upper back, too, but I think the lower back pain was what was acute and so very painful.

We were “supposed” to get rain today. Fffft! But it is about 75 degrees and it feels great. The kitties sure seem much happier after the sun goes down.

I’m glad I found it too. It’s made a big difference.
There’s no brace that will help with the rest. My arms are jostled while holding and working the handles to make turns, and that where those aches come from. They aren’t bad; just aggravating for a while.

I saw that there’s been rain in TX today and tonight but, as usual, it was east of you. At least there aren’t any tornados, though there are a few scattered strong thunderstorms. It would have been nice to get a little of that rain but at least it’s supposed to be a little cooler there tomorrow - - unless they’ve revised the forecast.

It’s still forecast to be cooler tomorrow and maybe for a few days after that. At least it will not be over 100. That nasty magic number. ๐Ÿฅด

A very pleasant good Wednesday morning and ((HUGS)) to everyone at the Canteen and to all our military at home and abroad. Thanks for your service to our country and thanks Luvie for this morning's thread.

These are the brand new tires I got installed yesterday. They replace the low tread ones I've had for the last several weeks. Our trip to Chisolm Trail Park was much better driving to and from the park and we had such a great time out there yesterday.

And yes, we did have more rain and storms this evening and as usual Gizmo hid under the bed.

On the quiz, I got 8 out of 10.

Today is Sonic Drive Inn Day. We plan on doing Wichita Ridge later today.

How's everyone doing this morning?

Hi, EGC! Awesome that you got new tires. Always smart to keep them updated to stay safe. I think that Gizmo approves!

Great score on the quiz, too!

Missed a song and a TV show.
They must have come on when I was reading a book....

A good break after a tough day.

Thanks again, luvie.

Nice to get a break from the heat, isn’t it? I know your kitties will appreciate it.

We have a nice several days ahead, too, with low 80s. Might only make it up to upper 70s Thursday.

It’s always good to see you here. You did really well considering that you were more into books.

Sorry you had a tough day. Hope tomorrow is a better one.

Howdy, E.G.C. ((HUGZ))

It’s obvious Gizmo had a grand time at the lake yesterday. He rolled with gusto. LOL

They were much more bouncy tonight when it had cooled down. So was I. Poor Tux is the one I worry about. He’s a long-hair and in poor health. But he just keeps on truckin’.

I think I’m going to get a couple of cooling pads for the cats. I was curious if they made them, and sure enough, they’re on Amazon. They said that the pads were good for hoomans to use, too. I’ll experiment on the kitties before buying one large enough for me or hubby. LOL! What’s good enough for my kitties is good enough for me. The self-heating blankets I got for each of us last winter were a godsend.

After a hot day, a cool night will make anyone bouncier. LOL

It’ll be nice if the cooling pads work AND the kitties will use them. It’ll help them get through the long, hot summer months ahead.
You, too, if you decide to get one for yourself.

I’ve put the kitty ones on the “Shopping List”. I’ll probably get them after we pay the bill for the AC. That took a bite out. LOL!

Guess I’d better finish up the show I’m watching and crash. My eyelids are getting verrrrrry heavy. I just hate to give up too soon. :) See ya tomorrow!

I hope they work as well as the heating pads you got. You’ll have happier kitties year-round.

You stayed up later than I thought you would. :-) Sleep well and sleep late. Catch ya tomorrow.

You got 9 out of 10 answers correct
That's better than 90% of the, people who took this quiz!

Good morning night owl ((HUGS))
Funny, the one I got wrong was one I didn't expect.
(However, it was a guess anyway)
I figured #8 because I had no idea who Thomson was.
Got it right with a process of elimination.

9/10

I was sure there was a “Thompson Engine” somewhere out there.

Thomson was Lord Kelvin...but Fahrenheit was first.
