Donald Trump Giving ‘Very Serious Consideration’ to Pardoning Julian Assange
Breitbart ^ | 27 May 2024 | ELIZABETH WEIBEL

Former President Donald Trump told podcaster Tim Pool that he would give “very serious consideration” to pardoning WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange if elected president in November.

During an interview with Pool on Saturday at the Libertarian Party’s Convention in Washington, DC, Trump spoke about the ongoing illegal immigration crisis in the United States and how he feels wars are “horrible” and “unnecessary.”

Trump also spoke to Pool about what he had done during the COVID-19 pandemic, explaining that he gave the “power to governors” and how he had made history by being the first president to step foot in North Korea and meet with North Korean dictator Kim Jong-un.

When asked by Pool if he would pardon Assange, Trump responded by saying he would give it “very serious consideration.”

“Well, I’m going to talk about that today, and we’re going to give it very serious consideration,” Trump answered. “And, we’re going to have a couple of other things to say in the speech that I think you’re going to love.”

Over the years, several lawmakers such as former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin (R), former Rep. Tulsi Gabbard (I-HI), Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-FL), and Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) have called for Assange to be pardoned.

Former Republication 2024 presidential candidate Vivek Ramaswamy pledged to pardon Assange if elected president.

I wish he would pardon him, is he any different than the people who published the Pentagon Papers or information about Watergate

He didn’t steal anything he only published it, except this time Hillary Clinton was embarrassed and that will get you sent to prison

On day one of his term in office Trump should pardon Julian Assange and every Republican convicted under “Democratic” Party lawfare, fire every U.S. Attorney (like Clinton did), and seal the border all foreigners period - nobody that is not citizen gets in.

Assange partnered (conspired) with Chelsie Manning in stealing and releasing hundreds of thousands of classified documents. Manning self describes as a ‘whistle blower’. Its been a long time since Manning was apprehended, so I have to ask what it was that he/she/it and Assange did exactly that was so heroic and deserving of a pardon?

I think the media wants Assange pardoned so that they can point to him and justify more such attacks on national security, but feel free to remind me why traitors deserve and respect.

Snowden is a similar case. He is worshiped by some for exposing some spying on US citizens, and spying on US citizens wrong. But often not mentioned was that he stole, like Manning, indiscriminately, volumes of classified materials that exposed and negated significant intelligence collection capabilities and did in fact do serious harm to US national security. He is not a hero.

If he pardoned Assange last time, he may have got assange to spill the beans on Seth Rich., and possibly set in motion the means to dismantle the deep state. But Trump is a fool, and the Extra Chromosome Tony Soprano wannabe he hired, Mike Pompeo, talked him out of it. Imagine the ass kissing and ego massaging pompeo had to do?

Assange has explicitly stated in the context of Seth Rich that he will never reveal confidential sources.

I watched an interview where he all but did admit that Seth Rich was the person who gave him the information. And in return for freedom? I think he might do it if Trump asked him. But Trump will not get re elected. He blew his one and only chance. And we will all suffer because of his foolishness and arrogance and incompetence.

How did you become such a cowardly, narcissistic, hate-filled loser?

Am I right or wrong, stupid?

Do you think Trump is going to win? Honestly?

With ballot harvesting, ballot counting, illegals voting, and NOTHING being done to stop it...And with AI assisted electronic voting, we won't even have an "F-Graph" to cling to! And that's not even counting the deliberate plan for the 100000s of thousands of foreign invaders right here, right now to do something drastic, like cut the power grid or poison the water supplies or both. Or Bird Flu lockdowns or a suspension of the election due to a terrorist attack. They will stop at nothing.

You don't agree that he BLEW IT? With his massive ego, and his family schmendrickgonifschmuckptz Jaaaaaaaared! (Oy!) and his selfish daughter grifting and distracting? And the morons and incompetents and backstabbers he hired? He let Epstein die instead of putting someone on him 24/7. Unless he thought Epstein was going to make up stuff about Trump and not the others, he BLEW a golden opportunity to possibly bring the whole deep state down. Same with Assange.

I'm neither a coward, narcissist, or a loser. But I am ANGRY that we are in the last stages of our civilization because our last chance failed us. I hope he gets back, by some miracle. And I will jump in front of a bus or an assassin if Trump and I were in the same room and he was going to get offed. But make no mistake... He's not God. He's not some superhero. He's a deeply flawed man who most likely ultimately failed us, and a big part of that falls on him. And these trump worshippers are pathetic, like the bushbots before him.
