A juror put his head in his hands, and just shook it east-to-west. You could interpret that as either reacting to Steinglass’ Closing Argument or that he is exhausted and wants this to end. Sounds like Steinglass is trying to claim Trump had FEC violations, which Blanche objected to since the FEC didn’t find any violations by Trump, but Merchan overruled the objection.
This is just so stinking criminal, what Merchan is allowing in his court.

Since there were no violations as relates to this case, isn’t that appealable all by itself?

If there even was a crime committed, how would the people of the State of New York be victims? This is a victimless crime even if it was a crime. But I haven’t yet heard any New York statute that was broken.

But I don’t even get what crime he was intending to commit. They haven’t said what he was trying to do that was illegal.
Trying to win an election is not illegal. Even trying to win an election by lying - as every politician in the world has ever done - is not illegal, and Trump didn’t even try to do that, as far as anybody has proven.
How can a jury member be tasked with coming up with a crime that Trump might have possibly wanted to commit and then figuring out whether that was the intent? It flies in the face of everything our judicial system is supposed to be.
It’s sort of like a sharia court where 2 men have to agree that a woman was thinking lustful thoughts, and then they can stone her to death.
That is NOT America. Where are these jerkoffs getting this total crap?
