An eighth pro-life activist was sentenced on Wednesday under the Freedom of Access the Clinic Entrances (FACE) Act and “conspiracy against rights” for an abortion clinic protest in Washington, DC, in October 2020.
Heather Idoni, 59, was sentenced to 24 months in prison, with credit for the nine months she has already served since being found guilty in August 2023, the Department of Justice announced.
Seven other pro-life activists were sentenced to years in federal prison last week for protesting at the Washington Surgi-Clinic in Washington, DC, an abortion clinic infamous for late-term abortions. Progressive Anti-Abortion Uprising (PAAU) activist Lauren Handy, 30, was sentenced to 57 months in federal prison with credit for the nine months she has already spent in jail. John Hinshaw, 69, was sentenced to 21 months in prison, and William Goodman, 54, was sentenced to 27 months in prison, both with credit for time served, according to the DOJ:

Liberals are only starting.
A lot easier to subdue a pro-life grandmother than the violent felons the system lets out every day with no bail or low bail.
They are smiling and back out on the street looking for new victims before the cops finish their laptop pages of crime scene reports for them.
During my formative years, I remember Weatern Movies where some cowboys would tie their ropes through the jail house bars, and have their horse pull the bars out.
The jailed occupant would emerge, to be provided an empty horse to speed away on, after being unjustly detained.
Isn’t there some Bill of Rights Ammendment that would encourage that?
A few weeks ago a bunch of protestors blocked the entry to a military base in Texas I believe , and not only were they were all allowed to go home, the military said it supported their freedom of speech
This won't end until THEY are made to fear US.
I won't suggest what needs to happen to some people because that would go against this site's policies. But damn them for making us consider measures that polite and decent people wouldn't ordinarily entertain (if you know what I mean).
Judges, bureaucrats, and this president need to have a moment like Ceaucescu did when the people simply STOPPED listening to him and asserted themselves.
They are just flesh and blood. There is nothing magical about "them".
This is tyranny.
Destroying the lives of people that oppose them is just plain sport. They consider that meaningless collateral damage—necessary to advance their agenda.
Democrats are vile, hateful, unbelievably vicious and vengeful!
this is unbridled evil
My great-uncle got drunk once and was thrown into a small cinder-block cell in Gans, OK, by the sheriff. He left him locked in there for two days in the Eastern Oklahoma midsummer heat. My grandpa (the youngest) and his other seven brothers finally learned where he was and went and busted him out.
They then all went to town (Sallisaw, if memory serves) and found the sheriff. My great uncle beat the dog out of that sheriff and no one did a thing.
No one messed with Lije Powell or his brothers in that area.
The Amendment that protects the right to keep and ride horses? Not sure what number that is.
“conspiracy against rights”?????
What about road trash stopping traffic
and all the other criminals?
Did they block access? Or was it just a protest?

I fear you are right...
Blocking I believe
You can’t block access. So they broke the law.
It’s like people that block the highway and prevent me from getting to work (a lawful activity).
If you block, don’t complain when you find yourself in jail.
Blocking is a form of kidnapping. Because when you block you restrain me unlawfully.
Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the government for a redress of grievances.

“ Blocking I believe”
What do you mean “I believe?”
The vile and vindictive are breaking our spirits. That is really what the imprisonment of innocent J6 Trump supporters, pro-life grandmothers, and so on is really about. Whatever they do, we must consciously not allow the breaking of our spirit.
