Given a choice between granting amnesty to illegal immigrants and deporting all of them, Americans voters favor deportation by a double-digit margin.
The latest Rasmussen Reports national telephone and online survey finds that, if given a choice between two candidates, one of whom favored granting amnesty to illegal aliens and one of whom favored deporting all illegal aliens, 52% of Likely U.S. Voters would vote for the candidate who favored deportation. Thirty-six percent (36%) would vote for the candidate who favored amnesty, while 12% are undecided.
I choose “mass deportations.”

ZERO AMNESTY. NO AMNESTY. Deport all non-citizens without a green card, regardless of how they got into the US. This includes DACA, which Congress has repeated rejected.

If you can get fined out of business for hiring illegal labor...that might discourage you.
Also, we need to fix the anchor baby policy (its not law, it was a SCOTUS footnote from like 1982), and prevent illegals from using our schools.

Deport every single illegal. Place a million dollar tariff on the originating country for each illegal deported.

But it is a fool's choice. Amnesty generally applies to those convicted of a crime. For the millions of illegals that have not been convicted, it wouldn't be an option.
Now if the gov says it applies, then my choice is both. Amnesty as a matter of record with serious jail time if they come back and send them home.
The Dems will do everything possible to prevent deportations. An entire industry has been set up to protect them and drag out the process. The Left will be clamoring for amnesty and provide sob stories that will be amplified by the MSM. A mass deportation will be compared to the Holocaust with the illegal aliens being placed on boxcars for deportation headed for inhuman conditions.
I have worked on this issue for 15 years. Trump must be prepared to take on the immigration lobby and the many NGOs, which are making a fortune on the settlement of illegal aliens. He must mobilize state and local law enforcement as force multipliers. An encounter with law enforcement should include a check on immigration status. E-verify should be made mandatory to shut off the job magnet.
Being here illegally is a crime, a misdemeanor. If you have been deported previously and return, it is a felony punishable by up to five years in prison. It is illegal to work here for an illegal or for an employer to hire him. Illegal aliens commit other crimes like identity theft, creating false SSNs, etc.
However we should also send a bill for all the free stuff to those countries that facilitated the illegal entries.
