Just yesterday, I filled up my 2014 Ford Expedition on the San Fran Peninsula. The trip computer said I was down to my last 2 mlles of fuel, so I was almost on fumes. I set a personal best of just shy of $150 to fill it up!!
Thank goodness I don’t drive much in retirement.
Things are bound to get better with CA shutting down oil exploration and recovery and Biden shutting down all fossil fuels. Right?

I hate these stories. I am driving there in July and right now I am enjoying gas at around 3.54 and less.

Saw a news feed from San Diego yesterday; average price of gas in SD County, $5.37. Regular here locally in MO is $3.09.
My mom, who lived in SD county wondered how that was possible since there used to be oil wells all over SoCal and she never saw a one when she visited me in MO.
