Carville: Robert F. Kennedy Jr. Will Hurt Trump More than Biden
Breitbart ^ | 05/20/2024 | Pam Key

Democratic strategist James Carville said Monday on MSNBC’s “Inside” that presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. will take votes from former President Donald Trump.

Host Jen Psaki said, “Let me ask you about RFK Jr. because this is like another question that comes up a lot as you are talking to people. He will not be on the first debate stage. You told my colleague Ari Melber, you think he might hurt Trump more than Biden. That is what the NBC polls say too for people who are anxious out there, given how much he is getting in the polls. Should the Biden supporters be anxious? Or do you feel less anxious about it now?”

Carville said, “I will put this into this in the River Parishes vernacular. I ain’t stuttering about no RFK. I think RFK is almost sure to hurt Trump more than hurting President Biden. And we shouldn’t be worried about him.”

Oh please! The legal battles to keep Kennedy off the ballot are simply how they’ll allow him to run in the states where he can hurt Trump and keep him from running in the states where he can hurt Biden.

I think it is 100% correct that RFK jr voters would break strongly for Trump if RFK jr was not in the race.

See post 41. The legal battles allow Kennedy on the ballot where Democrats think he’ll hurt Trump, and keep him off where he will hurt Biden.

To wit: he’s on the ballot in New Hampshire, North Carolina, Michigan, Iowa, Nebraska, and Nevada (and also California, Utah, Idaho, and Hawaii).

He is pretty hardcore on the climate change stuff, has a history of being anti gun and publicly supported 3rd trimester abortions.

How many people who would vote for Trump are going to vote for a guy with those positions? He’ll hurt Biden more.

“I think he may be right, as the drug addict steroid-abusing wackjob is doing everything he can to appeal to MAGA, such as with that ridiculous abortion 180.”

Just a few days ago he supported late term abortions.

Is abortion a MAGA issue?

“RFK might attract votes from single issue, anti-vaccine fanatics who would be foolish enough to throw the election to a communist-oriented Biden who would be far worse than Trump.”

Also some libertarians

My own speculation...

RFK is running Third Party because the Democrats will need to replace Biden before - or at - the Democratic Party Convention in August.

There is no way the Dems will choose Kamala.

That means RFK, Gavin Newsom, Hillary, and Michelle Obama would instantly be the top contenders.

RFK has been up and running for President for months.

He is the only future Democratic candidate with a national campaign organization already in place.

Kennedy’s effect is temporary and will be over soon. The most successful candidates like him were Anderson, Nader and Perot.
Kennedy isn’t as good as they and they got nowhere. Perot was the best but was taken down by threatening his daughter, IIRC.

I think that initially, RFK attracted attention from people on both sides of the aisle because he came across as distanced from the Washington establishment- which was in direct competition with Trump. But as he campaigned, and his liberal views became wider known, he drifted back as a direct Biden competitor. I do think RFK would be much better than Biden, but he is a liberal, even if he has expressed some anti-government views.

The Democrats might have mistaken that early positioning as though it would remain that way. But I don't think he really hurts Trump anywhere.

“Carville: Robert F. Kennedy Jr. Will Hurt Trump More than Biden”

if this was actually true, then the fascist Dems would be doing everything in their power to assist RFKJ, but the facts of the matter indicate that’s not the case at all: the Dems are doing everything in their power to thwart RFKJ ... the biggest example being that the RFKJ is a non-entity on the mainstream democrat fascist propaganda media ... and then there’s the refusal of the bidenistas to grant RFKJ secret service protection as a major presidential candidate ...
