Officials in South Dakota and Colorado certified proposed amendments that would enshrine the right to abortion in their state constitutions.
Republican South Dakota Secretary of State Monae Johnson released a statement on Thursday announcing that her office had approved the abortion measure after certifying that it had the required number of signatures to appear on the November ballot, NBC News reported.

There goes SD. I hope we pick up another state to make up. I expect to see these types of referendums show up in a lot of red states this fall.
Yep. That state is gone.
Trump is right. Leave it to the states. And that's all we should say on it.
There may be a few college girls and young suburban women that vote for abortion, but every other cohort in South Dakota and Colorado are Pro Life and will vote pro Life
So millions of women and young people will be attracted to vote for abortions that election day, and while there will vote straight Dem. Not particularly following the issues but want to vote Dem just because they were voting that day anyway.
Happened in places like Michigan where the abortion ballot proposal (big winner) got the Michigan House, Senate and Governorship to all be Dem for the first time in generations.
But the earlier 2016 election Donald Trump narrowly carried Michigan by 10,400 votes (one was mine).
Ballot proposals for marijuana and abortions attract trouble.
Blood soaked suburban harpies,at that. Sadly this is not surprising. I am sure the language is misleading never just outright states it will allow abortion up to term. Oh sure it will throw in “as determined by the woman’s physician” but no pro abortion doctor is ever going to narrow what dangers pregnancy poses to a woman’s health.
But they won’t believe they are voting in favor of unrestricted access to abortion. They’ll believe it is only to make sure a woman’s life will not be endangered by pregnancy. That allowing it to preserve a woman’s health will mean a very real serious medical issue. That will not be what the result of codifying into the state constitution will mean.
So if you had a choice of those two states to live in...which one would you choose?
“Ballot proposals for marijuana and abortions attract trouble.”
.
Understated, but ain’t that the truth?
SD would be better. Slightly less invaded by liberal CA locusts.
