In Nazi Germany, People’s Court judge Roland Freisler didn’t allow the Defendant to actually have any defense. Why waste time with things that didn’t matter?

They’ll put up with all sorts of excrement from the Left’s
witnesses, allowing anything sordid that doesn’t relate to
the issue at hand at all, but boy if a guy give the judge
a perceived sideward look, now that’s a capital offense.
This just must be related to Popeye’s friend Wimpie.
What a weak judge of just about anything.
