It’s crazy how something like that happens, it could be an accident, or it could be sabotage, /wink wink

Any landing he can walk away from is a bad landing.

In this situation "hard landing" might mean a Kobe Bryant type landing.

Uh, oh.
The helicopter went down near Jolfa, a city on the Iran-Azerbaijan border about 375 miles northwest of Tehran, the Iranian capital. Raisi’s helicopter was traveling in a convoy with two other helicopters, both of which reportedly landed safely.
Tasnim News Agency reported that foggy weather complicated search efforts for Raisi’s helicopter. The rescue operation is ongoing.

Well, well, well...
Putin’s number one ally, president Ebrahim Raisi, may have left our planet...
Knowing the paranoia Putin is suffering from, he will probably never use any helicopters from now on...

Hard landings with a chopper. Those blades disconnect, it’s going to me a messy landing too.

“Hard landing”; why didn’t the airline industry think of that euphemism? “Hard landing” is so much more pleasant than crash.

Per hour of travel, helicopters are about 85 times more dangerous than automobiles. Traveling in a school bus is about 850 times safer. That is Sniffy’s favorite. No malarky.
