Biden wanted a debate in June because he assumed Trump would be found guilty in the hush money trial, and the appeals wouldn’t have worked their way through- so he’d be able to say Trump was a convicted criminal”.
Now that that has become less likely, he’s backing off his demands for a quick debate.
I’m tired of Republicans agreeing to rigged debates. Conservative voters deserve better.

Do you think it will really matter? The guy can barely put a sentence together. He can barely read a teleprompter. Whoever is forcing this to happen might be biting off a lot more than he/she can chew, unless there’s an ulterior motive.
The guy shakes hands with people that aren’t there. He can’t find his way off a stage without help.
He has a temper. While I don’t watch these things, I will not be surprised if Biden loses his cool and says some crazy stuff, threatens or walks across the stage to get in his Pres Trump’s face.
With whatever “supplements” he’s given to make it through the day just might be a recipe for disaster.
Ulterior Motive: I think about the end of the movie Dave, when the “President” addresses the people and doesn’t make it through his speech. And one Dem has said to cancel their convention.

Hopefully, this “any time any place” talk is just bravado, because these debates will be more than just rigged - they will be lynchings - they are emboldened by all these bogus indictments and they will treat him like a criminal.

Trump caved on everything; there was no negotiation of any type on the debates. So we have two CNN reps as moderators who hate the MAGA movement. No audience, per Senile’s request. What exactly did Trump get back for agreeing to it? Not a damned thing, just when he let Chris Wallace roll over him in the second debate in 2020.
Of course they are rigged. Look at who the “moderators” are in these farces.
