On Friday’s broadcast of HBO’s “Real Time,” host Bill Maher reacted to New York Times Executive Editor Joe Kahn arguing that the paper shouldn’t be an instrument for the Biden campaign and only write negative stories about Republicans while writing solely positive stories about Biden by stating that this is what the paper does now.
Maher said, “Now that I’m doing interviews…the big question that people are asking me, I see every interviewer ask the same question, which is like, you make fun of the left a lot more than you used to. Yes, I do, because they’re goofier and more obnoxious than they used to be. It doesn’t mean I’ve turned into a Republican. I haven’t changed on that at all. They also just became weirder. They’re still not the threat the Republicans are. But I do both.”

NYT has declined in value since it’s peak as a printed newspaper. At that point it would be used on the kitchen floors to train a puppy or on the bottom of a bird cage.
Not it’s online so worthless.

Maybe maher taking a lesson from the great Johnny Carson.
He made jokes about both parties and limited the jokes to just three each.
Otherwise it seemed like a tirade against one and ignoring the others.
I remember the 1980 election year and Johnny slammed both Carter and Reagan.
I occasionally scan the late night shows and it’s always, always against Trump or the GOP even when Biden is the lowest hanging fruit.
That’s why Gutfeld is the closest to Carson today, there are no sacred goats on his show and it’s always funny.
It’s the reason he’s the “king of late night shows” in the ratings!
This self-aggrandizing assclown has seen what the Demonic Party has done to this country and still suggests that they aren’t the threat the Republicans are... what an ignorant dumbass.
I recognize that there’s a lot of folks who don’t like Maher.
So all I will say is that he really has lam-blasted, critiqued several of the far leftists’ pet “programs” like their racist approach to almost everything...
... and he has criticized the D’s very effectively, too (in that he has a definite talent for his satirical monologues)...
