NYT has declined in value since it’s peak as a printed newspaper. At that point it would be used on the kitchen floors to train a puppy or on the bottom of a bird cage.
Not it’s online so worthless.
Peter Sellers as Sir Grand Guy in The Magic Christian about the failing Boston newspaper he bought:
“This used to be a paper with a heart-—and a circulation.”
“NYT has declined in value since it’s peak as a printed newspaper.”
The NYT never had any value in its entire existence. Here’s Gen. William Sherman giving his opinion:
“The American press is a shame and a reproach to a civilized people. When a man is too lazy to work and too cowardly to steal, he becomes an editor and manufactures public opinion.”
