It is a presidential election year and a leading candidate for president of the United States, who also happens to be a former president of the US, is currently a criminal defendant chained to a dingy courtroom four days of the week -- time that he should be spending interacting with voters out on the campaign trail.
That's terrible. But it's only the beginning.
The daughter of the presiding judge is a professional political operative for the presidential candidate's opposition party, and the candidate himself is subject to an over-inclusive and unconstitutional gag order. The George Soros-funded district attorney, who campaigned on a platform of prosecuting that candidate, only pressed charges after his own left-wing predecessor opted not to do so due to the frivolous nature of the charges. One of the Soros-funded DA's subordinates curiously joined his team, just in time to prosecute the candidate, from a high-ranking perch in the Department of Justice that is headed by the candidate's chief political rival.

Democrats seem not to have given any thought to what happens if they lose -- an entirely distinct possibility, given the incumbent's poor swing-state polling and widespread malaise among the electorate. If Trump wins, do Democrats seriously not expect him to respond in kind? Now that the Rubicon has been crossed and we have entered a world in which politicians attempt to not merely defeat their opposition at the ballot box but also prosecute and incarcerate them, there is no going back. Just as Senate Democrats' November 2013 invocation of the "nuclear option" to end the filibuster for lower-court nominees directly led to Republicans doing the same for Supreme Court nominees just a few years later, so too is it impossible to know what may ultimately come from the lawfare precedent Democrats are setting today.

Yes. It’s clear that Biden and his party very closely follow the tactics of the German national socialists in the 1940s. The only response to that should be an alert conservative movement, ready to fight and defeat them.
I tend to think this way myself, but then we are more or less repeating for the Democrats the wrong they passed to the Republicans. I guess I would say to prosecute the wrongdoers, but only as an honest court of law would allow.
There is at least one very major difference.
The City States upon which the whole progressive structure rests are falling apart. In truth, as successful and thriving entities, several of the major City States are in serious jeopardy.
It is going to be seen and seriously felt that a significant but minority portion of the black City State population is disgusted with the Black criminal and corrupt Black Majority. The once solid voting block has been bifurcated with a small but devastating number of rational deserters.
The City States can’t be counted on to deliver the margins they must to assure political victory across the states,
Great article by CFW. Thank you.
Stupid move opening Pandora’s Box in this time of our lives. Perhaps Clarence Thomas and maybe Thomas Sowell and Victor Davis Hansen are the only ones who can check all of the boxes needed to be solid Convention Delegates. We do not have the statesmanship, historically learned, with integrity and honor to be trusted playing with the Constitution.
Each state sends delegates. Can you imagine what kind of mendacious reprobates New York, California, Illinois, Washington, Oregon and Hawaii would send, just to name a few?
Terrible idea, terrible. The Convention of the States guarantees to fast track our demise of this once great Republic.

I see three possible scenarios. Trump wins in November but the lawfare and vehement media attacks continue to stymie his presidency. Biden wins in another shady election and the country continues on the road to serfdom and a totalitarian single party state. The third scenario is the American people revolt.
November 22, 1963 marked the beginning of the ascendancy of the Deep State, and the beginning of the end of the Republic.
Should we send bananas to Congress?

You’re dreaming if you think the GOPee will man up against the RATs. They’ve done nothing to help Trump so far, so what will change. You’re right though, it is time for them to man up.
Scenario #2 is the almost certain. Scenario #1 has a scintilla of a chance. Scenario #3 is, I sadly believe, a pipe dream.
Maybe it is not the GOPe. Maybe it is citizens filing lawsuits or filing charges. These marxists have done many people wrong.
I know that we do, but SHOULD we?
