President Joe Biden stubbornly refused to admit Americans' struggles with inflation might cost him the election in a rare interview Wednesday.
A growing economy could inspire confidence in Biden's leadership ahead of the election, but the issue of persistent inflation could ruin that.
Biden, who was in Wisconsin to tout his record on the economy and to announce an investment by Microsoft to build a factory, defended his handling of inflation.

I think you could round the up the forty-odd insider crew of the Administration (even Harris), and find none of them are clear about the present economy, and the advice they are getting from banking wizards...is marginal and crappy.
Adding to the mess...the statistics being collected and manipulated....gives off a false reading...so that outsiders, journalists, and people with economic skills...can’t get a full in-depth understanding.
They want to raise taxes as well in the face of historic inflation.
They could be on Mars and be less out of touch with reality.
‘Rare’ one-on-one interview. The only thing that would be rare is if they did not do 50-60 takes.
Bought a loaf of cheap bread at WalMart 3 nights ago
$1.42
The same loaf of bread under President Trump?
88 cents
Even at the beginning of the Disastrous Democrat Joe Biden Administration it was still 88 cents
Almost a 61.5% increase under Joe Biden
Just one example of hundreds of food items that have changed
Check off all items
I think it shows 55.98% increase

I went into Sprouts the other day. Hadn’t been in there a very long time. Probably over a year. They weren’t exactly cheap before, but I couldn’t believe how expensive things have gotten in there. Up over 50 percent on some items. I will never go in there again. Went to Trader Joes a few days back. Definitely more reasonable with their prices. I don’t shop there regularly enough, and I’m sure their prices have increased some, but not quite like Sprouts. But even at the regular stores like WalMart my grocery bill is definitely way bigger than the Trump era.
Re the video, I can’t even stand to look at Biden, but I did watch the snippet of the interview. Such an evil, angry, rotten old man. He oozes rottenness and there is not one iota of caring or sympathy for the common man. Notice how angry he gets whenever asked something? It wasn’t even a tough or hostile question. They are always so gentle with Uncle Joe. But he comes back always with venom and no caring at all even with the softballs they lob. And he blames everyone but his old stinking rotten self. Now it’s corporate greed. Instead of his and other stupid-ass Dems spending us into oblivion. I hope they all get just desserts in the next life. Stupid, leftist white people have ruined Western civilization. The hell with them all.
Also, he was taking the tact, at first, that people are just mad they have to spend more, but we are all flush with money. It makes them mad, but they can afford it. But even old mush head realized that didn’t sound too sympathetic so he quickly added in that it makes him mad, too. Sure it does. I bet Jill and Hunter are having sleepless nights, too, worrying about the 99 percent.
One item that I occasionally buy is up 50% over last year.
Saw a Winn-Dixie sale flyer yesterday. Special on name brand bread was 4$ a loaf. It used to be $2-something regular.
That’s what I’ve noticed. They place an item on “sale” with its current price. Then list the price increase as the “Regular” price. When it goes off sale the price increases.
Look at a 6-pack of Coke. More than $1/bottle now.
Walmart Great Value version of A-1 steak sauce was $1 under Trump. $2.50 now under Biden (Obama).
WOW
The republicans and their leadership have not even pretended to fight against funding it. Why are they excluded from being held accountable??
Since Obama we have learned the truth. They will happily take money out of your wallet and insider trade their way into millions.
Republican leadership has gone even further, becoming pro abortion, pro homosexuality, pro big pharma and big government.
What kind of would not sacrifice her life for her child??? What kind of man would love a woman who wouldn’t???
Republicans have become Marxists light.
later
This is the same size, 10 oz bottle that A-1 sauce comes in in the regular smaller size.
Walmart’s Great Value Dijon brown mustard wa $1 under Trump; now $1.89. Countless examples but you get the idea.
We’re going to have to take out loans to hold summer grilling meetups.
And good bread can be as high as $5.99 a loaf!
I’ve mostly cut out beer, because good beer is usually more than 10 dollars a six-pack.
I can’t believe there are still idiots that support Joe Biden.
But there are. /facepalm
Back when George H.W. Bush was President he was asked what the price of a loaf of bread or a gallon of milk was. He admitted he didn’t know, and the press were like vultures over his answer. Somebody should ask Biden if he knows…
Better yet, ask him how much his favorite ice cream costs.
