Police officers repeatedly fired their guns at a New York City man who had called 911 during a mental health crisis as his mother and younger brother begged officers not to shoot, bodycam video released Friday shows.
Win Rozario's family called on the officers to be fired and charged with murder after the footage of the killing was made public by the state's attorney general.
“The video that was released makes it clear that Win should be alive but the police came and murdered him in our kitchen without any care for him or us,” said a statement from Rozario’s mother, brother and father. “The police created a crisis and killed him in cold blood.”

Lots of em don’t have an ‘ideology’ they’re high level homeless brought in to prime the pump of unrest. ... as another freeper pointed out they have ‘meth look’.
When reporters try to talk to them they all refuse to talk or mouth the few sentences they’re allowed to speak. This is AstroTurf crap on a very sophisticated organizer level.
Thank you for reminding Conservatives that occasionally the Police do commit murder.
Any updates on her husband's lawsuit?
The article referred to a statement by a police commander, a statement released by NYPD and quoted Chief of Police from a news conference he gave. How is that one sided?
Not if you’re fumbling with it, trying to clear an apparent jam.It looked like his first time handing the weapon.
Yes he was armed. Yes he was threatening. And there are details.
This key words are: “Rozario picked up the scissors and walks toward them (the police)”. They should be prominent in the headline.
But then there would be no excuse to stir up the rabble and set inner cities ablaze.
I’m not certain how police in Britain and Latin America would have disarmed him. The family knew of the immediate danger and called the police instead of his counselor. They knew.

What technology are they using to prevent the perp from stabbing said Brit and Latin cops when they go to take him down?
“Why make this public?”
Because the public has a right to know what our government is doing.
They have better weapons and numbers when they do it than we do when we have to deal with knives (and scissors in this case) in bars and at BBQs and all the places those of us who are unarmed and alone have to deal with them.
It is surprising to watch the videos of some of these foreign cops deal with guys who are armed with knives, especially Latin American cops.
For some reason cops used to fight the lightly armed guy with a billy club rather than just shoot him, what changed?
Cops should not have to fight every threat, BUT sometimes they should, we need cops who are willing to take some risks to do cop work, and that means sometimes fighting rather than just shooting everything that they meet, from dogs to women and boys.
Here is one example of some brave British cops, the internet has many such videos of foreign cops.

Most of the cops in America had their billy clubs/batons taken away and replaced with tasers.
Was it good for the gene pool?
Watch the video, It was a good shoot and I tend to be hard on LEOs use of force if they're not.
What do you mean?
LOL you first. British cops would be unarmed and and unable to do anything. Latin American cops would have gotten into a cross fire and shot the family and each other.
To cause division and chaos, of course.
“…we need cops who are willing to take some risks to do cop work, and that means sometimes fighting “
We had cops who did that, then they feminized the job. Not all scissors wielders are equal. Some you might take down other ways some it might seem advisable to shoot. With a feminized force the resort to deadly force is extremely likely.
