This isn’t really about abortion. It is about taking the next step to moving the federal government permanent one party rule like we see in California, Washington, Oregon, Illinois, New York, and most northeastern states. Abortion is just an emotional issue carefully manipulated through a sophisticated propaganda campaign to win votes.

A year is coming when the Democrats secure control of the White House, the House of Representatives, and the Senate. The filibuster will be ended in the Senate and a hard left agenda to federalize control of elections, impose draconian regulations on gun ownership, give the bureaucracy more power to regulate the everyday lives of citizens, and legislation to restrict individual rights. Likely statehood for the District of Columbia and Puerto Rico will be passed, essentially ensuring a Democrat lock on the Electoral College. The voting laws federalizing elections will enshrine extended voting periods, mail-in ballots, vote harvesting and possibly even internet voting. Certainly universal ranked choice voting is a one of the goals.

Once the Democrat party is fully in control of voting administration and oversight nationally it is game over. One party rule at the national level will become permanent and with that power position they can begin bending individual “red” states through law fare, control of federal funding, and the heavy hand of thousand of bureaucrats. Once the national government and 3/4 of the states are firmly in control of leftist Democrats, amending the Constitution, or discarding it completely becomes an option.

Sen. Kelly, SCOTUS ruled that abortion is an issue for states to decide. What part of the Constitution empowers Congress to ‘codify abortion rights’?

God created life.

Democrats kill what God created.

Some republicans agree with the destructive left.

Anybody that is pro-abortion, is anti-God.

Aw, come on Breitbart editors. As the title noted, Kelly is a Democrat senator from Arizona.

Anyway, it’s no surprise that the Democrats would destroy the filibuster to get their filthy agenda passed. I suspect we will see more of this soon.

Seems to me the reversal of Roe v Wade by this USSC has already determined that abortion is a states rights issue and that any statute codification by the US legislature STILL wouldn’t Constitutionalize that so-called right to abortion. IOW, should said codification occur it could very well be deterined Unconstitutional.

Thank you for referencing that article ChicagoConservative27.

"Dem Sen. Kelly: I Support Eliminating the Filibuster to Codify Abortion Rights"

FR: Never Accept the Premise of Your Opponent’s Argument

Since the word abortion is not found in the Constitution, the constitutionally limited power federal government has no power to make policy for abortion.

"From the accepted doctrine that the United States is a government of delegated powers, it follows that those not expressly granted, or reasonably to be implied from such as are conferred, are reserved to the states, or to the people. To forestall any suggestion to the contrary, the Tenth Amendment was adopted. The same proposition, otherwise stated, is that powers not granted are prohibited [emphasis added]." —United States v. Butler, 1936.

Just like Pelosi, Kelly is trying to keep desperate Democrats and RINOs in power by scandalously exploiting constitutionally low-information voters imo, trying to win their votes for OBiden with campaign promises of unconstitutional, politically correct abortion rights. Such voters have probably never been taught about federal government's constitutionally limited powers.

Probably the main reason that Democratic and RINO crook politicians support abortion is so that they can continue to pocket their share of unconstitutional federal taxes, such taxes arguably stolen state revenues (citizen's wallets), collected by Congress's abuse of repealable 16th Amendment.

"16th Amendment : The Congress shall have power to lay and collect taxes on incomes, from whatever source derived [emphasis added], without apportionment among the several States, and without regard to any census or enumeration."

Again, Congress has no express constitutional power to legislatively address abortion.

Democrats [and RINOs] Are Terrified Of An Educated And Informed Public (3.12.23)

These idiots don’t get it. The Supreme Court didn’t “outlaw” it, they said it’s a state decision. It’s still a state decision.

“...national fight over abortion rights...”

There is no national fight over abortion rights. That was relieved from the federal government when Roe was overturned and it was reduced to states determinations internally. This is just a ploy for the voters to think there is something happening that isn’t and trying to drag it into the mix for voters and using it as a selling ploy for liberals.

Getting rid of the filibuster is a viable tactic only if one expects their party to be in power forever.

Use a freaking condom. Better yet, close your stupid thighs and save a baby. These people make me puke. GOD said that anyone who harms a child, it would be better to tie a millstone around your neck and jump in the ocean. How about, just jumping in with the millstone BEFORE you destroy a life. Maybe your makers should have aborted these stupid people and saved everyone a lot of time and trouble.
