On Friday’s broadcast of NewsNation’s “The Hill,” White House Senior Adviser Gene Sperling discussed the recent jobs report and stated that things are “not good enough, because people are still facing too high costs in their family and personal lives. But in terms of the job market, yes, this is steady, sustainable job growth, better than even a soft landing. It’s a very steady and strong landing.”

I know people - multiple - with actual skills, who are looking for jobs, and cannot find them beyond working at the grocery store.
Who believes what those DC clowns have to say???

“Soft landing” was floated around on every news channel in 2007-2008.

Whenever the Brandon administration gaslights, it’d be fun to see Bagdad Bob preface the replies to the referenced article. In the way oldeconomybuyer sometimes brings out an infamous propagandist to signal incoming climate change gaslighting.

I had lunch with a really talented ex boss today. He got laid off in November and isn’t having much luck getting interviews. He turned 50 which isn’t helping and he’s finding being male is hurting. It’s double whammy.

Most of the jobs are going to illegal border jumpers, “doing the jobs most would not do.” Like hell, the jobs people won’t do if they weren’t for slave wages!

I'm not sure what that means, if anything, but you don't usually want a "steady" landing. And "strong" sounds heavy. What happens when you run out of runway? Any landing you can walk away from, eh?
The odd language makes sense
if our fall into communism
will be a soft landing, steady and strong.
