@RobertKennedyJr
When frightened men take to social media they risk descending into vitriol, which makes them sound unhinged. President Trump's rant against me is a barely coherent barrage of wild and inaccurate claims that should best be resolved in the American tradition of presidential debate. President Trump, who has proven himself the most adept debater in modern American political history, should not be panicked to meet me on that stage.
To preview my arguments, I will show how President Trump betrayed the hopes of his most sincere followers. He promised to end the Ukraine war and then colluded with Speaker Johnson and President Biden to fund it. He let Big Pharma and his corrupt bureaucrats run roughshod over him as President. He promised to cut the deficit and ran up the biggest debt in history. He promised to run the government like a business and then closed down our businesses. He promised to drain the swamp and then filled his administration with swamp creatures. He promised to protect our rights and then torpedoed the Constitution.
Instead of lobbing poisonous bombs from the safety of his bunker, let’s hear President Trump defend his record to me mano-a-mano by respectful, congenial debate.

>>”He’s the only one telling the truth on Ukraine. This whole thing could have been avoided”
And Trump hasn’t been saying that exact same thing? (i.e. that it could have been avoided). That’s been Trump’s position from the day Ukraine was invaded. Having said that, which person do you think is more likely to put an end to the war as President, now that it’s already started? Trump or RFK Jr.?
The problem with weak leaders who want peace is that their weakness usually makes the peace they so desire, less likely. Trump understands that an important part of achieving peace is to have a credible deterrence. I’m not sure RFK Jr. understands that. On so many issues he has his head in the clouds, embracing dangerously naive positions on economics, gun control, and environmental issues. I have little confidence the world would be a safer place under an RFK presidency than under a Trump presidency, whether we’re talking Ukraine or some other potential hot spot.
As far as the deep state goes, RFK Jr. may hate the deep state because of what they did to his father and uncle, but does he know how to defeat them? Not likely IMO. Good intentions aren’t enough. Does he even know who the deep state is when he embraces hoaxes, pushed by the deep state, like global warming? All his rich environmental activist friends are either part of the deep state or are being used as pawns by them.
Just had a look. He might have a point about improving grid access - at least in the theory, but the rest of what he had to say was vague, impractical and/or downright false. He knocks subsidies for coal but is fine with subsidies for solar and wind and claims they’ve achieved parity with fossil fuels? And of course he makes no mention of the reliability issues with both those forms of energy, nor does he mention their environmental impact, which is not inconsequential.
1. Debates ALWAYS favor the underdog - and that is clearly RFK.
2. RFK is a talented and articulate debate opponent - unlike Slow Joe Biden.
3. Add to that the fake news propaganda mill, which in 2020 widely reported Biden’s pathetic debate performance against Trump as a WIN! Just imagine how they will report a debate where a non-senile Democrat is involved - a Kennedy no less!
Steer clear President Trump! No debate unless Biden is included and it is hosted and moderated by true friends of MAGA - such as Steve Bannon, Charlie Kirk, Lou Dobbs or Maria Bartiromo.
In other words, propose a debate format that Biden’s handlers cannot accept.
The criticisms that RFK is leveling against President Trump could just as easily be made of any past President. No modern President has improved the debt crisis. No modern President has drained the swamp. None have put Big Pharma in its place. None have destroyed the Military Industrial Complex. None have tamed the IRS or the Federal Reserve, or have restored sound money.
The USA is like a giant ship headed the wrong way for a hundred years, and no captain can change course 180° in just four just years. They all fail if that’s the test. It’s too easy for an articulate challenger to call any past administration a failure - and claim they will be the one to finally correct course. As Obama proved in 2008, Hope and Change is easy to sell when you have no past record to defend.
President Trump should stay away from any debate - and he has the PERFECT excuse: Debates have long been hosted, moderated and rigged by partisan hacks who obviously want to see the Democrat candidate win and the Republican candidate lose.
Simply turn the tables and refuse to go along with the status quo. Insist on the Republican getting to decide debate hosts for once. Be bold. Choose MAGA friendly hosts and moderators. They will refuse to bend of course - and so should we. Fine. No debate then.
OUCH!!!
RFK Jr. succinctly exposes some of the shortcomings that were in the Trump presidency/administration. Trump made some bad appointments (ex. Barr) and allowed people like Fauci to influence him and the nation. We can argue that Trump was the victim of bad actors who misled him but that dog won't hunt! The buck stops at the Resolute Desk!
RFK Jr. is not MAGA but articulates a number of MAGA positions. The problem I see with RFK Jr. is that he's unelectable being a 3rd party candidate. Trump with all his shortcomings is electable and will win barring 2024 voter fraud. I'll be voting for Trump but sadly, I think we'll see the anti-MAGA and corrupt: democrat party, courts and legal systems, media (news & social) and anti-American billionaires (e.g., Soros, Gates) - steal another election. Establishment republicans and Rinos have done nothing to challenge those who hate and persecute MAGA individuals; they wish Trump to lose.
And, Kennedy is supportive of reparations for blacks. How do you think that will go over?
Excellent questions to be asked at the debate, provided Trump really wants one.
RFK Jr. has ZERO chance of being elected dog catcher, let alone Pres or veep.
Trump should ignore the little gnat.
As for RFK Jr. -- even a blind squirrel finds an acorn once in a while -- I'd be interested in a debate only if Biden was included (even if represented by an empty chair)
” He promised to end the Ukraine war and then colluded with Speaker Johnson and President Biden to fund it. “ Typical political rhetoric. He promised to end the war if elected, of which has not yet happened. “Colluded”? Johnson is the one who “colluded” whether for the better or not is yet to be determined.
“Excellent questions to be asked at the debate, provided Trump really wants one.”
Kennedy wants a debate in the same fashion as Nikki Haley wanted one — to make him a legitimate contender. And Trump should not debate Kennedy to give him legitimacy.
This is about like a deer fly buzzing around your head when you walk out to the mail box. Just be patient and swat him when he lands.
I can’t listen to Kennedy’s voice very long.
The fact that he never applied the same objective scrutiny to his pagan climate idiocy that he does to his pharma/vaxx crusade is irrefutable evidence that he’s a disingenuous fraud and an @sshole.
I fear that he will take more votes from DJT than from The Big Guy.And my guess is that that’s been his intention all along.I wouldn’t trust any member of the Kennedy clan as far as I could throw them.
Well, they could put a cardboard cut out of Joe on the stage, and he’ll be just as responsive and understandable as the real one.. Then the press can claim Joe debated his opponents and WON!
Yeah, but if RFK Jr and trump spend the whole time lamenting how bad trump is, Biden will look even worse if he doesn’t debate, and he can’t.
Well your list is wrong as I haven’t said that previously.
I suppose you are craven enough to actually believe Biden got 81 million votes.>>> Well that is actually a fact. Now how many people actually voted for him is up for investigation.
“Well that is actually a fact.”
Only in the sense that you can also believe a counterfeit hundred dollar bill is actually a hundred dollar bill.
