Electors from both parties in Hawaii sent their EV's to DC while the vote count was contested. The President of the Senate (VP Nixon) then opened the Democrats' envelope to count the Dims EV's instead of the Republicans' EV's because by then it was considered that the Dims won Hawaii. Had the Republicans won Hawaii he would have counted the Republians' EV's.

I watched some of this trial. I loved how he tried to explain why he subpoenaed, the names, bank records, and routing numbers of people who contributed to give send go. Even the judge had a hard time understanding his excuse.
It must’ve been one heckuva crime if it took him four years to indict it. Maybe it’s just politics?

I wonder how much time, money, and effort the national party (RNC and other official party groups) have spent to stop or at least curtail vote fraud for 2024. That should have been Priority #1. Trump’s “alternate Electors” are now under indictment and facing felony trials in four states: Georgia, Michigan, Arizona, and Nevada. These trials effectively decapitate the Republican leadership in those states, making a win in any of them a long shot.
Abortion going on multiple ballots when we now learn a super majority of voters across the nation support it, is another threat we’re facing now.
“Alternate electors” in Nevada, Georgia and Michigan have already been charged by prosecutors in their respective states.
