She’d be fine but I doubt the votes are there.

This is the woman who was caught groping her boyfriend in a theater and asked to leave?
She sounds like a mess. We've had enough messes as House Speaker - get Jim Jordan in there, or someone sane and principled.
To: hardspunned
That would be above her ability. She is, until Nov. my congress critter.

Johnson needs to go.
Calling oneself “conservative” but supporting big government spending and blatant unconstitutional legal proceedings... No thank you.
Botox and perfect hair isn’t enough, Mike. You actually need to make sure your actions line up with where you pretend and tell us your political philosophical ideology is.

They need Marjorie Taylor Greene as Speaker.Only one problem with that, she would shut down the dems, make fools of them and blow up the corrupt institution the house has become...can't have that.

The Deep State would never allow Boebert to become Speaker. If it looks like she has a decent chance, “tax problems” or something like that would suddenly surface.
As a side note, Boebert is a bit out there (for lack of a better term). But sometimes you need a person like that. The GOP has had a run of gracious and polite Speakers who are willing to compromise. What has that gotten us?

“Look, if we built this large wooden badger...” I almost spit out my coffee at that. Nice.
Lookit, if the dingbat Boebert is being unironically pitched at this point, then maybe there's some reason for hope after all. Best case, it suggests that the Republican party is truly running on fumes and is on its last legs. Only when/if GOP, Inc. is vanquished will there be any hope of saving the country under its present constitutional configuration. And even that's a small hope.
