Not a very bright one, IMHO. For every deadbeat borrower like the loser in the article, there’s a hundreds more who paid their obligations, think they will be voting for FJB?
The title should read “Another debt FORCED to be paid by Taxpayers, for personal benefit of an individual”, to make the banks happy.
I love these folks who have taken 20 years to pay off a $10,000 debt.
The scary part of this whole equation is the number of people making $250k+ per year who still have outstanding debt after decades. It’s obscene.
Reading the article, this manchild clearly still does not understand how life works and seems the type to get into debt again by moving to India to study for more useless masters degrees.
Imagine dreaming about going to India
“””While Lambdin is still working to determine what exactly the relief will mean for him and his wife, he said that discussing retirement is “a much more present conversation now” because contributing to savings is viable after the relief. He can also begin to look into buying a home.
Beyond financial goals, Lambdin said the relief is also allowing him the freedom to pursue some of his long-term dreams, including taking a sabbatical to study with his meditation teacher in India.””””
Lambdin, at age 48, is now looking forward to taxpayers to finance his retirement and to purchase a home for him.
After all, Lambdin has been such a huge asset to the US economy during his 30 years of adulthood.
This person has no intention of ever contributing to society.
