Former national security adviser John Bolton criticized President Biden for putting “enormous pressure” on Israel to not “do more” to Iran Friday, after the country launched retaliatory strikes on Israel following an attack earlier this month in Syria.
Early Friday, the Israeli military struck close to a major air base and nuclear site in Iran. The strike seemed to be a response to the drone and missile strikes that took place last weekend.

If Bolton is ever right about anything, it’s purely by accident.

Dangerous threatening dictators almost always carry out their threats. Unless they’re stopped first.
According to Bolton, there is an enemy behind every tree or around every corner that needs to be attacked and dispatched. Oh, all done by someone else of course.
Bolton wants WWIII so bad that the thought sends a thrill up his leg.
As a neocon, Bolton has no credibility with a pragmatic America first constituency.
That said, I also criticize Biden for telling Israel that they should not respond to Iranian attacks.

Why do they keep interviewing this guy?
The U.S. Air Force and RAF intercepted a great many of those missiles and drones.
Kinda puts Israel is in debt to us, and imposes an obligation on Israel to consider our concerns (i.e., to not drag us into World War III).
In fact, our military remains on alert in the area, protecting Israel. I don't hear Israel complaining about that.

I think its safe to say Bolton has never advocated for peace.
Imo I attribute his war mongering mentality to his personal background.
I know the area called Yale Heights well along with Beechfield and Irvington all Balto Md. Postwar democrats heavily “ conservative” democrats , i.e., hawks in these neighborhoods which the military drew heavily upon in WWII. You wouldnt find many Republicans at all there and if you were , you mainly kept it to yourself As a point of reference that wacko Joy Reid would have been comfortably at home here but not welcomed and at the time was very racist and segregated. African americans had their “ own” neighborhoods.
I think he never moved on from the postwar era he grew up in and going to McDonogh School at the time was more of a prep military academy.
He could have gone to Mt. St. Joseph right down the street but his parents sent him to The Academy most likely thinking he was their “insurance policy” for their future , him being a only child.
