Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer bragged on the Senate floor on Wednesday about how House Speaker Mike Johnson gave into Democratic demands in foreign aid packages.
Human Events' Jack Posobiec said he heard from a senior Republican official that Schumer "was just on the Senate floor bragging to other members about Speaker Johnson giving Democrats everything they wanted in the Ukraine and foreign aid packages."
Posobiec said on Human Events Daily Wednesday that there’s "nothing" in this package for the southern border. "Not one penny of this should be spent. None of these bills should go forward and any Republican who thinks that they could sign these bills before we have anything for our border should be looking for a new line of work."
Speaker Johnson announced on Wednesday that the House would convene a vote on Saturday to decide on the recent foreign aid package intended for Israel and Ukraine. This move comes despite significant Republican efforts to impede further spending on foreign countries.
The proposed legislation is similar to a $95 billion aid bill passed by the Senate two months ago, which allocated funds to Ukraine, Israel, Taiwan, and other nations, according to the New York Times.
In addition to scheduling a vote on the aid package, Speaker Johnson has suggested that the House vote separately on aid allocations to individual countries.

1. If a party is working AGAINST an opposing party, there would be gridlock.
2. If a party is working WITH an opposing party, there would be an equal amount of compromise from each side.
3. If a party is working FOR the other party, there would be minimal resistance from the subservient party. The dominant party would always win.
One doesn't need Schumer playing games to think that Johnson has been terrible.

There’s a whole lot of DC pigs slopping at the foreign aid trough just waiting to loot it. With the billions of $ in play put up by Speaker Johnson, the DC criminal cabal can loot a few hundred million and it will never be missed. They all get a cut for supporting the aid package.

Every time I saw a demorat as senate majority leader in past, I always said to myself, “well, can’t get any worse than this guy.” Yet, I’m always proven wrong.
