Alvin Bragg’s office is now asking the court to impose sanctions and threatened Trump with jail time.
Per MSNBC: Manhattan DA’s office asks court to impose a $1k sanction for each of 3 prior posts, order him to take them down, and warn him that further violations will result in jail time. DA notes a 9:12 am post today, potentially made inside the courthouse, also violates the order.
Judge Merchan said he will sign the order to show case that sets forth a briefing schedule.

That will stall the case until the SCOTUS can hear it, next year.
The judge rejected it’s election interference so the trial will proceed.

Trump is getting a lot more than $1,000 a day free press coverage thanks to the kangaroo court.
The prosecution seems like everything Trump claims it is. But I know a couple of liberals and they both are so anti-Trump if they talk for more than a minute, you’ll be wiping spit off your face. They don’t see the prosecutions the same way any sane person would. I don’t think they’re unusual amongst about 40% of the population. (At least 25% will be spitters when talking about it.) I find that very scary.
I think Bragg made promises to some very “important” people. If he doesn’t come through he is politically dead…
Not only that, but everybody can see what the Big State will do to you.
Is there nothing to be done here but let this play out to an almost certain corrupt guilty verdict and then begin the slow and laborious process of appeal?
If Trump is ordered jailed following the corrupt guilty verdict, is there no expedited means of appealing to allow him to be free pending appeal? Can the sentencing judge restrict Trump’s movements while out on appeal of the verdict?
Can a higher court be sufficiently appalled by what is occurring to intervene here and what might that look like?

Yes, depending on where you’re at.
If they put Trump in jail, he will have a majority of the Cons on his side in no time, and they will accuse him of organizing a prison riot.

I worked in a General Dynamics defense plant. When Obama was running the first time, there were dozens of Obama stickers on cars in the lot. I knew a lot of Republicans and I asked them why they didn’t have a sticker on their cars. We all had the same answer, we didn’t want our cars vandalized. When I was a child, you could leave the car and the house unlocked. I knew people who didn’t lock their doors when they went on vacation. It wasn’t necessary. My how things have changed.
