US President Joe Biden dissuaded Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu from greenlighting an immediate retaliatory strike against Iran after it launched around 300 attack drones and missiles at Israel last night, the New York Times reports.

Maybe the world will let Israel go do what it has to do now in Gaza.

The latest Iranian attack only proves that Allah’s warriors are not confined to Gaza or the Palestinians. No, the problem is Islam and the Islamic world.
It must have been Barry on that call..
Bibi didn’t feel the need to urgently retaliate.
Why should he? Multiple Arab states helped to eliminate the Iranian threat.
The Iranians are seething about it. Trumps efforts were utilized by the Biden administration to help de-escalate.
If Trump were POTUS he would convince the other Arab nations that the people of GAZA need to be moved to Iran to stabilize the region. The Iranians have supported war death and misery, let them give the Palestinians a new home.
“Let me make it clear...”
Links didn’t work for me.
I thought out about the timing. Israel already has covert operations in place.
Not necessarily a lie but a narrative.
Was the NYT there, or did an ‘unamed source familiar with the meeting tell them. I am sick of the NYT getting away with non journalism. They need to go away and merge with the national inquirer, although that would be a step up for the inquirer. I would not believe a damn thing that the media says. They don’t know anything. The only things we do know is that 1) Iran attacked Israel with a few hundred missiles and drones, some high altitude, and there was little damage and one fatality and 2) the US will do nothing but ‘project power’.
Emboldened the mullahs is what he did.

[[Boy howdy did Iron Done come in handy]]
It did, but like youmpoint out, it depleted massive amounts of $$ and depleted muni5ions used to defend themselves. The drones supposedly only cost a few thousand dollars apiece, but the rockets and munitions used to shoot them down cost millions-
The a t tack last night exposed a possible weakness because
One of the tactics the enemy will likely use is to flood the skies with cheap drones, get,Israel to deplete the8r stores of r9ckets, then the enemy will launch more serious attacks with more sophisticated missiles of their own.
Their, iron dome is great, and saved a great many lives, but the enemy learned last night how to counter it cheaply somewhat by sending a flood of cheap drones-
Altlhough he did still have sand in his shorts from the beach. That might have driven his ‘decisions’.

I find myself spending more time on Twitter these days. The posters there seem much better informed on certain issues.
No need to retaliate immediately.
Make Iran sweat the ass kicking that’s sure to come.
[[to convince Netanyahu to choose a ‘peaceful’ course of action when his nation was under attack active from Iran. ]]
Can you imagine Israel or another nation calling our nation up in the middle of an attack 9n our nation from some country and “talking us into not defending ourselves”? Telling us that we “must throttle back our response for the sake of diplomacy”?
A serious president would tell the calling nation to go pound sand, but our current president would capitulate.
This could be a strategic move by Netannyahu?
You’re probably right; however, I still wish Bibi were out if Trump becomes President. We all know the reason for my view. Furthermore, there are freepers who know me personally and know I am Jewish and a supporter of Israel.
Otherwise, biden is a Middle East expert..
One word: Afghanistan.
