As The Gateway Pundit previously reported, former Speaker Nancy Pelosi and Washington DC Mayor Muriel Bowser were both warned about the security situation prior to January 6th and both of them turned down National Guard troops at the US Capitol that day.
Pelosi and Mayor Muriel Bowser turned down thousands of National Guard troops at the Capitol on January 6 for political reasons.
Chris Wray’s FBI also refused to notify the Trump administration and his cabinet secretaries that they believed there could be violence like the mass protests at the Capitol that took place that day.
Nancy Pelosi also refused the National Guard at the US Capitol due to politics.
Capitol Police Chief Steve Sund said he asked House and Senate security officials for permission to request that the D.C. National Guard be placed on standby in case he needed quick backup. But they both turned him down.
John Solomon from Just The News released an explosive report in 2022 that revealed Capitol Police were first warned about possible violence at the January 6th protests TWO WEEKS before the planned rallies.
Pelosi, Mayor Bowser, and other government officials turned down the National Guard anyway. They hoped for an “insurrection.”
Solomon says the DHS and District of Columbia were made aware of online threats of violence two weeks before the protests and rally.
On Friday, The Daily Mail released an explosive report that destroys the Jan. 6 Committee’s narratives on January 6!
At least THREE NATIONAL GUARD MEMBERS will testify this coming week that they were ready to be deployed on January 6 but THE PENTAGON held them back!
This directly brings General Milley’s actions into question!

But DJT will still be convicted by a DC jury. Of course this info may make it easier for an appeals court to overturn the conviction.

What is constantly overlooked is that the legislature has no Constitutional authority to have a law enforcement arm, most especially a 'riot police'. We have tolerated the Capitol Police as a sort of 'hospitality' police with some limited enforcement authority.
Pelosi had grand ideas however. After her riot police gassed and clubbed innocent citizens, even the elderly, and killed two or three people (without any consequences), she announced her intention to use an arm of her Capitol Police as a counter-intelligence operatives! She intended to start with Florida and California, surveilling potential anti government protesters. That is a bit the same way the Nazi SS came into being and grew - as protecters of the party government officials.
I contacted Gov. DeSantis and alerted him to this gross unconstitutional abuse of police powers; he immediately announced his intent to block such a move.
Except it wasn’t the “stupid goobers” that caused the trouble. It was antifa and the feds. Try to keep up so no one will think you are a stupid goober.

They are claiming General Charles Flynn, Mike Flynn’s brother, intentionally blocked deployment of military assets including the DC National Guard during the “insurrection.”
I think this discussion brings us back to the summer of 1932, and the Bonus-Army situation in DC....with the final answer being that DC police could not handle the mess, and the US Army (not the Guard/reserve) were detailed to bully the crowd into leaving.
There’s never been a full accounting of who funded the Bonus Army existence for almost 2 years, or the amount of blame dumped on Hoover for the order.
Fascinating! I remember some of this history, but it fades from memory - well before my time. Once I read the linked Wiki article I remembered the reported 'communist' involvement in the affair. If you like, read the Wiki article and comment on its accuracy from your perspective.
It is hard for my WWII generation, taught to fear (Stalin's) communism and nuclear conflict, to understand the lure of communism in the '30s and the Great Depression - Woody Guthrie and all of that. Of course FDR's Administration was riddled with communists and in the post WWII era the 'leaking' of nuclear secrets to Stalin's regime. During the war Stalin and Russia were allies of ours.
The same communist sympathy manifested in Britain with the Philby, Burgess and McClean betrayal of the Crown.
Fascinating times and the public's growing awareness of espionage in the Cold War. Also the names of WWII hero generals - MacArthur, Patton and Eisenhower - in the Bogus Army affair!
