Judge Aileen Cannon ordered the public release of the FBI’s interview of Trump’s valet driver Walt Nauta.
Walt Nauta is a former White House employee and Navy veteran who worked valet for Trump and served as a personal staffer at Mar-a-Lago.
According to the transcript of the May 2022 interview, the FBI interrogated Trump’s aide Walt Nauta – without Trump’s knowledge.
The FBI agents approached Walt Nauta and asked for a voluntary interview under the guise of national security interest (similar to the General Flynn ambush).
“On May 26, 2022, NAUTA participated in a voluntary interview with the FBI. During the interview, the FBI explained to NAUTA that the FBI was investigating how classified documents had been kept at The Mar-a-Lago Club, and the FBI asked NAUTA questions about the location and movement TRUMP’s boxes before TRUMP provided 15 boxes to NARA on January 17, 2022. NAUTA was represented by counsel, and the FBI advised NAUTA that the interview was voluntary and that he could leave at any time. The FBI also advised NAUTA that it was a criminal offense to lie to the FBI,” according to the indictment reviewed by The Gateway Pundit.
According to the newly released transcript reviewed by this reporter, the FBI interrogated Walt Nauta without Trump’s knowledge.
“As far as [Trump] knows, I’m out jogging,” Walt Nauta told FBI agents when asked if Trump was aware he was in a secret meeting with the FBI.

If they’re FIB and they have a warrant, don’t talk to them without a good lawyer present. They’re slicksters trying to trap you.
It really sucks what they’ve become and Obama’s horrid 8 yrs made it far worse. They’re now fully on the democrat’s side in everything, if they weren’t already.
They interviewed Walt Nauta on May 36, just 3 days after Nathan Wade, Fani Willis’s lead prosecutor, met with Biden’s White House Counsel (at the White House) on May 23, 2022.
NEVER interview with the FBI beyond your ID without a lawyer present, period.
I preferred Mannix.
Nauta was being disloyal.
He had every right to refuse to be interviewed by the FBI.
After Operation Cross Fire Huricane Nauta had a duty to remain silent.
I’m not sure how else to say this?
Never. Talk. To. The. Police.
Ever.
You have the right to remain silent; whether you have the ability or not is another question.
There’s a youtube video out there (you’ve probably seen it) of a debate between a law professor and a police officer: Should you talk to the police, is the topic.
The law professor goes on for quite some time explaining why it is a horrible, bad, no good idea. Then it’s the cop’s turn to rebut. He starts by saying “He’s right”.
That’s the part that bothers me. It seems that Nauta betrayed DJT at the very least by not telling him about the interview. IIRC, Trump is currently paying Nauta’s legal bills.
I have been saying for years that until some fatal consequences are visited upon a few deep-state operatives there is no incentive for them to abide by any law or to do what is right and fair. Even in today’s totally corrupt WDC environment a few “hemp and branch” parties would snap many of the remaining drones back to reality and they would either resign or begin treading the straight and narrow.
A guy can dream ...
People need to understand the FBI and most other law enforcement agencies are not your friends and should never be trusted in any verbal interaction. They can lie to you with impunity, but if they “construct” a scenario where you just contradict a former statement to any degree they can prosecute (blackmail) you. Silence is best, don’t even confirm or deny anything the may ask.
Again I say “Where the Hell is the Supreme Court? “..
“Do you have a warrant”
Then they get a warrant, kick your front door open at 4:00am and shoot you because they felt threatened.
Voluntary interview by the FBI?
Go get a warrant Jack Boot.
He had an obligation to refuse. Traitorous prick can rot in jail.
If you are ever approached by federal officials - LEO or otherwise - for an ‘interview’, there should be one persistent response:
” “
Several years ago, a FReeper posted a video on how to handle a situation like this. When I get to my PC I’ll see if I can find it. I think I saved it.
How classified documents had been kept at The Mar-a-Lago Club.
How the hell would a valet drive have any knowledge of where they were kept.
Sounds like FIB made story again
There was no “gotcha.” He had a lawyer. He could have walked at any time. Trump, or any other target, is never informed when witnesses are interviewed, or before a GJ. It’s a private matter. Sorry, no outrage is identified in the article section provided. SOP.
May 36??
Never mind. After rereading your post, I see that you meant May 26th. Sorry.
Strange that people’s egos seem to interfere with the natural common sense “chut up” protocol.
