Anyone hired in any capacity in the next Trump administration: When FBI agents stop by to chat, turn on your cell phone recorder and then say “No.” They will start to press you, continue to say “No” and ask them to leave. If they refuse to leave then you leave.
Recording is important, because even if you refuse to talk with them, they will lie.

And? President Trump was not required to be given advance notice of Nauta being interviewed by the FBI. None.
As far as Nauta? It's been said multiple times in so many venues - do not agree to be interviewed by law enforcement without at the very least discussing with legal counsel first.
Everyone thinks they can handle the situation. LTG Flynn thought he could. And it sounds like Walt Nauta thought he could.
Re: 46 - I am aware that Nauta had his attorney present during the interview.
I’d want to know how he came by that attorney and how long they had an attorney-client relationship. It’s important that first and foremost that Nauta’s attorney is there to protect’s Nauta’s rights - and no one else’s rights.
Nauta’s attorney reads as knowing the FBI agents (that is established at the beginning of the interview) from previous professional interactions.
