U.S. sets record for foreign military sales amid Ukraine war, says Pentagon

The U.S. has seen a dramatic spike in military sales to foreign countries since Russia invaded Ukraine in February 2022, a senior Defense Department official said this week at the Sea-Air-Space exposition near the District of Columbia.

The Pentagon did more than $80 billion in business through the foreign military sales system during fiscal 2023, which Defense Security Cooperation Agency chief James Hursch said was a record. Sales to NATO allies amount to $24 billion in FY 2023, up from $20 billion the previous fiscal year.

“This is a huge increase. That’s representative of the increased investment that our allies in Europe are making every day,” Mr. Hursch said.

The government is screwing up civilian business in order to pump military sales. Exactly backwards.

How much of these billions is money from those foreign countries vs. our tax dollars given to them to shore up the MIC?

“...The U.S. has seen a dramatic spike in military sales to foreign countries since Russia invaded Ukraine...”

and therein lies the reason Biden refuses to let this war end - and the reason he nixed the peace conference in 2022.

And, this is the number one reason we started and have continued the proxy war in Ukraine — to fatten the profits of Big Defense, which in turn makes politicians like Lindsey Graham and Dan Crenshaw rich.

“number one reason we started and have continued the proxy war in Ukraine — to fatten the profits of Big Defense”

we have been selling equipment to foreign governments way before Ukraine. Almost all our allied countries across the world want the same weapon systems (or comparable) that our forces use. They want the same aircraft and the same communications equipment. If they go to combat alongside us, they want to have the same abilities we do and the ability to easily coordinate with our forces.

The 5 Step Cycle Of Boosting Military Equipment Sales

Step-1 Our Feral Government politicians give taxpayer money (Foreign Aid) to other countries.

Step-2 They use much of the money to buy US military arms and equipment

Step-3 Our Feral Government brags about how the GNP for manufatured goods is soaring.

Step-4 The foreign country channels the remainder of the foreign aid to the politicians who gave it to them.

(this is akin to learning to pleasure yourself)

Step-5 Return to Step-1 and repeat

We USED TO sell weapons to foreign nations because it was in OUR national interests to do so and/or free countries from tyranny.

Now, like in Ukraine, we foment color revolutions, setoff civil war and destabilize nations, making life worse for those there, just so the defense and our elite can make $$$.

Almost everything we've done worldwide for the past 20 years has made life worse in other parts of the world and done more to endanger our national security than improve it.

Our current foreign policy is nothing but modern-day imperialism.

We must get back to an American First foreign policy instead of one that politicians make and launder money through.

You can take it to the bank that any MILITARY “SALES” TO UKRAINE WILL NEVER BE PAID BACK.

NEVER PAID BACK.

The question I have is does this make America stronger? I don’t think putting profits first is the best formula for America’s arsenal. I just watched a video that talked about this situation. Our weapons manufacturers are making weapons that cost a lot and are only produced in small numbers. If we get into a major war we won’t have the capacity to replace those weapons fast enough. It doesn’t sound good at a time our degenerate politicians are pushing to start WWIII.

Provides jobs for American workers, money into the US economy and the more orders are made the greater the economy of scale leading to lower unit prices for that portion of any bloc order that supplies the US military. What is not to like?

Why this good news for American defense issues upsets these guys baffles me.

A lot of people don’t seem to think America is going to need a weapons manufacturing capability anymore and that the improvements we are seeing come out of this Russian invasion is helpful for us, or perhaps they do, and that is what causes these reactions.

Peace.

“John 13:34-35

34 A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another.

35 By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another.”

War pigs gonna war pig.

Nothing wrong with making sure allies are properly armed to defend themselves from malefactors and aggressors either to deter attack or to ensure that if a war does happen, they win it. I know it isnt fashionable to say it these days but peace is all well and good until it becomes the greater evil than war as we all found out with Hitler.
