Send murder to the states. It isn't in the constitution.

Uh, wait ... we already do that. When was the last time anyone was tried for murder in a Federal court?

BTW, the leftists are trying to persuade Sotomayor to retire so ByeDone can appoint his second SCOTUS justice.

Wouldn’t it be something if—God forbid—he & the demonrats had the opportunity to expand the high court which re-instated Roe v Wade and TOOK BACK the authority from the states after all???!!!

The last and most recent federal execution was of Dustin Higgs, who was executed on January 16, 2021. On July 1, 2021, Attorney General Merrick Garland announced that a moratorium on the federal death penalty was being reinstated.
