Rep. Ritchie Torres is absolutely right about Hamas’ Tuesday rejection of a yet another ceasefire offer: “The hyperbolic and hysterical demonization of Israel — from fair-weather friends — makes Hamas feel emboldened to continue rejecting ceasefires and continue holding the hostages captive,” the Bronx Democrat posted on X.
The terrorist thugs could have ended this war the week it began by sending the captives home. But Hamas does not care about the lives of its own people.
That the group still feels comfortable holding hostages even as its leaders reject deal after deal after deal is a testament to the very dynamic Torres outlines. It also gives the lie, completely, to the squeals and screeches from the pro-Hamas caucus in Torres’ own Democratic Party.

A good portion of our establishment are determined to see Hamas live to fight another day.

If the hostages are all dead, what would be worse? For Hamas to admit it and enrage Israel even more, or continue to lie and give Israel hope that they can be rescued? The only certainty is that the supporters of Hamas wouldn’t care in the slightest if they were all tortured to death.
I believe that there are not very many hostages left to trade.
I thought they said they don’t have control of the hostages anymore?

I do not watch the MSM news channels any more.
Is the MSM ignoring the issue?
Has the MSM started blaming Trump or Conservatives yet?
