Graham breaks with Trump on national abortion ban

Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.) broke with former President Trump on Monday over Trump’s decision to back away from endorsing a national 15-week abortion ban, declaring that leaving the issue entirely to the states “runs contrary to an American consensus that would limit late-term abortions.”

“I respectfully disagree with President Trump’s statement that abortion is a states’ rights issue,” he said in a statement responding to Trump.

Trump on Monday reversed course on his plan to support a 15-week or 16-week national abortion ban amid pushback from top Republicans, who warned it would put the issue of abortion rights at the forefront of the 2024 campaign and hurt their chances to taking back the White House and the Senate majority.

Graham, however, argued that “the pro-life movement has always been about the wellbeing of the unborn child — not geography.”

Yes. And the CIA’s ability to plant “evidence” on people’s computers means that they can blackmail ANYBODY, to get rid of ANYBODY in the military, courts, Congress, media, church.... anybody.

As long as we don’t address the criminality of our own CIA the whole country is hostage.

Yep. I think they’re already working on that.

But the critical mistake they might be making is being too obvious about it before people are totally asleep.

A lot of people know the WEF is up to no good. They know the desire to exterminate 90% of the world’s population. They can be made to realize Schwab’s advisers want to get rid of the human soul, make humans programmable by the WEF that wants them dead or slaves.

Increasing numbers of people are realizing that the Covid jabs are bad news and were known by all the bureaucracy and drug companies to be bad news, and yet the whole cabal not only allowed these injections but also falsified “scientific” studies to keep safe, effective remedies from saving lives in order to approve - and even mandate - the medical experimentation on unsuspecting victims.

Heck, the Covid jabs could even be argued to be involuntary sterilization, rendering abortion unnecessary.

I just wonder if people would be able to wrap their heads around the precarious position EVERYBODY is in right now.

Nobody is sacred to the people who own us, and yet large numbers will vote for the very people seeking to abort us all.

You can’t campaign for devolving power back to the states then turn around and undermine that with an overarching federal law bringing power back to the federal government.

Spot on!

I keep on picking out only slices of your response to reply to.... that is because certain portions stand out to me.

Nobody is sacred to the people who own us, and yet large numbers will vote for the very people seeking to abort us all.

Elections are no longer a constraint to them. They've learned to game the system, and are no longer in any way accountable.

I’m not disagreeing with the politics of it, but if you’re truly pro-life are you OK with abortions in ANY state or do you think the Constitution provides protection to fetuses regardless of the jurisdiction?

Given the state of our culture, until you can get enough support for a constitutional amendment enshrining protection for the unborn, you are urinating in the wind.

To bring such power back to the federal gov't is anti-liberty and will not reduce abortion.

Working on people's hearts at the local and state level will reduce abortion.

Abortion was created out of white privilege.....to control minority populations and to allow white people to abort babies of mixed race.

Bring that up next time someone wants to say we have structural racism in this country and see what they think

He is doing exactly what he did in 22. Sabotage, he does not care at all about abortion. A traitor through and throgh.

“Despite voting for and raising $ for DJT twice I was sorely disappointed in some of his actions and statements but we need him back in office and it’s starting to look like he is getting better advice this time around”

I was happy with his pro-military, pro-national defense, pro-secured border, pro-Israel and pro-US economy policies. Everything else is secondary, if not dead last... including abortion... on my list of priorities. Because without those issues secured, we won’t have a country in which to worry about things like abortion rights.

I think his penchant for taking advice from the wrong people is still there, just maybe not as strong as it was before. He has learned from his experiences. Maybe next time around it will be better.... if there is a next time around. I don’t see the Marxists allowing that “next time” to happen... but perhaps miracles do still occur. Only time will tell.

I wonder if Tucker Carlson and/or Joe Rogan would be willing to consider any of this. Maybe Elon Musk?

The sanctity of human life isn’t just about pre-born lives.

I heard a video conversation between some ESPN guy and another Black guy (I’m terrible with names), talking about how wrong it is to release people who are beating up cops, etc. They were reiterating what used to be obvious to everybody: that letting criminals go free is not the way to give minorities a leg up. You have to protect innocent life.

I think it might be time for the sanctity of human life argument to be affirmed at the POST-BIRTH level, which ultimately will also support it at the pre-born level. But the point at which we can come together as a nation is to affirm the sanctity of (post-birth) human life as a principle that absolutely HAS to legally overrule any religious claims otherwise.

Just because somebody believes a human life is a cockroach, that doesn’t mean we as a country won’t fight like Hell to defend and protect that human life. I think the more we realize that THAT is a concept being very, very seriously degraded in our world right now and the more we stand together to fight that degrading that is so blatantly obvious through the regime’s response to illegal immigration and crime, the better off we will all be, and the easier for otherwise-antagonistic people to begin the journey of recognizing the value of pre-born human life as well.

Do you think there is any hope of changing that? If so, how?

I’m already praying. Ultimately, somehow, the two beasts are going to devour each other - corrupt religion and corrupt government.

Is there a way we can help that process along?

The French came up with a way, but I believe that time has passed. Unsure of any other options.

Graham is helping the democrats win elections.

Of course he is. Just before the 2022 elections, knowing that the reversal of Roe. V. Wade had shaken the political landscape, went on to say he'd lobby to make abortion federally illegal nationwide. While it was an admirable sentiment, the timing of it was clearly intended to throw a monkey wrench into the impending Red Tide that was coming... turning it into a Red Ripple.

The guy simply is a closet Democrat. Period. Full Stop.
