It would start a cascade that the public won’t be able to ignore.
First, the judge must make accommodation for the Secret Service squad that accompanies the x-POTUS.
His only way out of that is to have Biden remove the USSS protection provided by Congress for x-POTUS.
At that point, Biden will need to explain to the SCOTUS why he is nullifying legislation by fiat just to put Trump in jail.
That should take about 8 years, provided Trump doesn’t win the election.

Nelson Mandela was a Communist who would not renounce violence. After the Left emerged victorious in South Africa the cameras wondered off to another crusade. Meanwhile , in the now Communist South Africa, White Farmers have been murdered by the hundreds, electricity is often off, and the nation has become a basket case.
On the other hand, most USA Blacks, and the Political Left, consider Mandela to be a secular Archangel, which is why they go bananas when Trump invokes his name.
Also, Rush Limbaugh used to do a drop dead perfect vocal imitation of Mandela, usually for completely silly things, which would always cause the Left to erupt in anger, decades ago.
